    Default Long drive views!

So DH is finally arriving next week. The airport is three hours drive from our place. Rent a car is an option, but I am not sure to put him thru that after thirty hours of flying including three stops?

So should I drive three hours one way and three hours back again? He will drive some bit on the way back.

I did drive DD to the zoo over last weekend, that was half the journey plus whole day at zoo. I felt very tired the next day with some mild abdominal discomfort.

Just wondering what should I do!

I don't think you're too far along to drive that distance, but if it was me, I'd definitely ask your OB about it...I had a friend who went with us on a trip from Key West to Miami, and we barely made it to key largo before her water broke and put her into labor...she was only 7 months. If you do decide to do it, make sure you stop a lot and stretch your legs. One of the main things is the lack of blood flow while you're sitting that long...good luck and be safe

I did an 8 hour drive when I was 7 months preggo with DD2 and had no issues, you can check with your OB just to be sure.

I would have him spend the night in a hotel and then he can rent a car the next day.

I think I am going to pick him up, he says he will handle the drive back. it will save us 100 bucks if I go to pick him up!

I plan to stop midway for a good stretch, drink lots of water. I think next day will not be a sing song for my legs,,will try to soothe them with a warm soak. Please keep the views coming.
