    Default How's everyone doing?

Hey ladies, how are all my July mommas?

I'm doing pretty good, just been fighting some nasty headaches and i'm so achy all the time . Baby has been so active and i've been putting stuff on my belly to watch it move . I can't wait until Friday for my ultrasound.. Only 5 more days . Hopefully my little stinker will show us the goods .

Ah! So jealous that you are finding out this week lol.

Feeling pretty good. Nausea is mostly gone except when I havent ate. I have picked back up on my workouts now that I am into the 2nd trimester but I am changing weights and body weight workouts for swimming and am now at a mild jog but I watch How my body acts and how I feel and do not push my self. My headaches are getting worse and I hate to say it but I may have to seek help for them because Tylenol is not doing the job at all. I go to the doc on wednesday so hopefully I will get more answers to my questions and we will know what tests and stuff we are going to do in the coming months. Movements have picked up and I am feeling daily but not all of the time yet. I also dont feel full blown kicks but just the rolls and flips especially when close to the outside.

I still have enough nausea that I am on Zofran 5/7 days, I'd say. I am still exhausted! Ugh. I also feel movement everyday with occasional bouts of lots of movement but I don't think anything has been strong enough to see or feel from the outside. My DD says that I'm having a baby girl and everyone else says a boy. I'm looking forward to finding out in a few weeks.

I could really just be tired with all the running around I have had to do for my DS. We are still trying to figure out what the mass on the side of his neck is. CT scan this week and then an excisional biopsy after we have those results.

Sounds like for the most part you ladies are doing well!
I am still taking zofran 3x/day. I'm 15 weeks tomorrow so it should let up soon (fingers crossed). I get headaches, but I know it's because of sinuses. I'm ready for the warm weather...

My fatigue isn't letting up either. I'm thinking I may need an extra iron supplement.

I haven't really felt any movement. But it's early for me.

Other than that I've been doing ok. At least I'm eating a little more. I still didn't gain back the 6lbs I lost when the nausea started. Everyone is telling me I don't even look pregnant.

still hardly feeling any movement so I am settled on the fact that it must be my placenta all in the front...and hate the way it's making me a bundle of nerves. Nausea is gone, but headaches are about 1 a week...so it's better, but not great.

My exhaustion ramped up for sure...I fall asleep by 9 every night, but wake up a lot because of my awesome insomnia...

Love hearing how everyone else is doing

I forgot to mention the nausea..I guess i've gotten so used to it, that I don't think much of it anymore. I still get really nauseous first thing in the morning and around 5 at night. It's much worse when i'm hungry though. In the beginning I didn't have any appetite at all, which resulted in me losing 14 pounds. I'm finally starting to get my appetite back and i'm hoping it doesn't result in me gaining all that weight back. I'm glad to hear that everyone seems to be doing well.

Jessica, you're little man is in my thoughts and prayers. I hope you guys get good news at the CT scan.

I'm doing pretty well! I will occasionally get nausea if I don't eat enough and am on my feet too much, but that is the exception now rather than the norm. I've actually had a decent amount of energy the past several days... we'll see if that lasts! I don't feel like I'm going to fall asleep while driving home from work anymore, so that's always good. I've been feeling lots of movement which is a lot of fun. I can tell I'm starting to get bigger because my belly feels uncomfortable if I sit and slouch forward and squish it lol. I'm still having on and off pelvic pain especially when I stand up from sitting on something soft like the couch, but I've pretty much just gotten used to that. I was hugging DH today and I said wow my belly is starting to get in the way of this! Only ***8*** more days til we find out the gender!!!!

DS is being really cute these days. I am having so much fun with him and can't wait to have another one and watch this new LO grow up and for the two of them to interact. I'm definitely nervous about going from 1 to 2 kids and managing a toddler and a newborn. But more than anything I am looking forward to it.

Jessica, I hope all goes well with the CT scan for your DS! Lots of positive thoughts sent your way.

Doing good here. I feel a little bit like an achey old woman by the end of the night but that's about it. Headaches have been staying away (as I jinx myself). Still a bit short with DD by the time 4:00 rolls around but it's getting much better. Haven't gained any weight after my 9 lb gain between weeks 8 and 12 but pants are getting very uncomfortable

Not feeling much in the movement department hopefully I'll feel more soon.

Our big news! We potty trained last week! I'm in shock. On monday I said no more underwear and took her to the potty every 3 hours or so for two days then on the third day she told me when she needed to go and has every time since. Not one accident and she even stayed with grandma overnight on Saturday. So relieved, it was something I always worried about but never had the motivation to do. I'm sure we'll have set backs but it's great to get it done as far from July as possible.

Can,t wait for you guys to start having your U/S! Mine got schedule March 1st. MARCH! Ugh. And my due date is July 15 so I'm sure there will be some after me but I had it in my head thwt I would find out in Feb.Good luck Friday Christine! Hope baby is healthy and cooperative.

Hey girls, good to hear everybody is surviving!!

I am feeling much better this past few weeks and getting my energy levels and motivation back. I've had the big conversation with my OB (along with another scan!) and she has agreed to monitor me closely due to my BP probs in previous pregnancies. We have also announced and found out that my cousin's wife, who I really get along with is due a week before me!

I think I am feeling some movement but have got to the point where I need reassurance, so have just ordered a doppler.

I hope everyone is enjoying these days before we get bigger and more tired. I am the same size now (16weeks) as I was when I was 25 weeks with Shay. Eeeek!! I am so hungry as well and all that healthy stuff just doesn't do it for me. Oh well I will be relying on weightwatchers and breastfeeding when bubba comes along x

Take care everyone, looking forward to all the 20 week scans and gender reveals!!!

my Allie will be 2 when we have this baby so I am going to attempt potty training in a couple of mnths...around 23 mnths. All of my kiddos have been done at 2...I cannt handle big kids in diapers with itty bitties in diapers...doubly exhausting. way to go

DS is trying to potty train as in he wont wear diapers or pull ups but wear underwear and go in his underwear and then complain that its yucky. Then try to pee in the tub not the toilet. Yep I have a stubborn one.

I am glad for the most part we are feeling better. Those who have nausea still I hope it goes away soon.

We are not officially potty training yet but DS has been going in the potty sometimes now! He definitely still needs his diapers at night though. Even if he is daytime potty trained by summer I will be happy! I'm surprised he started wanting to use the potty already but I'm not gonna question it! GL to all the rest of you who are working on it too!!!

Just got diagnosed with upper respiratory bronchitis, and put on meds for GERD, so last night, I finally slept pretty well. I won't say amazingly, because I did still have some coughing and post nasal drip blockage and of course, a million trips to pee while the cats tried to keep me from moving. (I swear, they are only 8 and 10 pounds, but when they don't want to get up, they weigh 20 times more!) Nausea seems to have subsided and I actually get hungry, so I'm hoping the weight loss is going to end. I've lost 11 pounds total, from day of positive HPT to today, so I'm hoping to reverse this soon. LO still won't tolerate veg, so I'm trying to do the shake thing. I think they taste vile, but I'm working at getting over it. Supplementing my diet with Ensure and fiber supplements as well. Had a acute baby checkup u/s yesterday so the doc could be sure he wasn't affected by my bronchitis and his heartbeat was loud and fast and he seems to have grown quite a bit from the last checkup u/s. (He is very hard to find with a Doppler, so my midwife keeps having to do u/s.) I think my belly has popped a bit, but it's hard to tell if it's belly or bloat still.

I thought I felt movement on Sunday. I was lying draped over my Snoogle on my belly (I know I shouldn't have, but I keep rolling onto my belly or back while sleeping) and I woke up to what felt like popcorn popping in my gut. I've never had that sensation before and I haven't felt it since, but I think it might have been. My cats have also taken to curling up next to my belly at times during the day and purring. I don't know what LO thinks about that, but it makes my gastro-intestinal complaints calm down when they do it. But they aren't super-cuddly, so I have to wait for them to come to me.

I've gotten a good bit more excited about the baby and even did some shopping for baby stuff the other night. There are some great deals on Mothers Lounge products and I decided free is worth checking out. I hope they are as good as the reviews say. I've also picked out the stroller, playard, and bathtub I want, but designing a nursery is still eluding me. I might just let hubby deck it out in a superhero theme.

I hope everyone's 2nd trimester is full of energy and health as soon as possible. Poohbear and JJorn, you're in my prayers!

glad to see everyone is doing fairly well... As for me.. I am on modified bedrest for the rest of my pregnancy.. due to my cramping that I had earlier in my pregnancy.. so getting to spend lots of time with DS age 5. My nausea is still here because this little munchkin is so picky about what to eat! One day I love a certain food the next it makes me sick to my stomach! My asthma has been flaring up causing me to sleep in my newly purchased recliner almost nightly! Haven't gained any weight yet.. really have a lack of appetite Feeling occasional movement but no real kicks yet... Headaches are a daily challenge.. tyelonol helps occasionally!
