Is vomiting normal towards the end?
Ever since my appt on Monday, I've been miserable! I'll start having regular contractions (but not strong enough to go in) and then overnight they'll bother me and by early morning, they are gone but my back still hurts. I lost my plug two days ago. Now I can't stop throwing up! I threw up once yesterday out of nowhere and then twice this morning. I can handle the contractions coming and going, but the throwing up is driving me crazy! I know I only have three days to go until induction, but these are going to be a long three days if I have to deal with vomiting the whole time.
My other two were inductions for medical reasons so I don't know if this is normal or not.
Sorry to complain, I just had to get this out there.

Yes, pretty normall for you to have nausea and vomiting. Just try eat little bits all day long and try not to chug water just sip it. Don't think it will help much, been there its rough.

The early stage of labor can last for days and includes things like losing your mucus plug, contractions exactly as you describe, and nausea/vomiting. I'm sorry that is how yours is going. ((hugs)) It is terrible to go through. But it also means you are in the labor process, hopefully it is changing your cervix a little at a time.
Try drinking some raspberry tea today, that can help ease this stage, I'd add a a little ginger root to ease the nausea. Do squats if you can stand it, this will also help ease things along and hopefully move the cramping away from your stomach and towards your cervix. Roll your hips on your yoga ball. If you feel comfortable with homeopathic remedies, I recommend taking some turmeric capsules (or drinking turmeric tea but in your case it probably would worsen your nausea to drink the tea). Black licorice root (capsule form) can also be good for this stage, as well as a little black cohosh (you'll find this in most labor tonics and labor teas, it really helps focus your contractions). It sounds like your body wants to get this moving but is having a hard time synchronizing, if you can make it to the store to get these things I think you will see a big difference in the structure and effectiveness of your late night contractions.
**NOTE: The homeopathic remedies I mentioned have been used for centuries to organize the early stage of labor and are still used today in many countries. For the most part, western medicine doesn't recommend using homeopathic remedies because there isn't enough research on risks/ efficacy. (not a lot of $ to be made in home remedies=not a lot of grants for research) Please don't take anything you do not feel comfortable with.

Oh I'm sorry mama
I am with everyone else that it's normal but shoot your doc a phone call if you feel like something is wrong. Mother knows best of course. Maybe you'll meet this LO sooner then a few days

Thanks ladies. I thought about calling my OB but didn't. Nausea/vomiting is my only new symptom, other than a slight headache that goes away with Tylenol. I'm think it's all normal as you say...or at least that's what dr. google told me. I can hang for three more days.
@my3sons, if I could get out to the store today, I would! Unfortunately, my dh's truck overheated today (when it's 20 degrees outside...go figure) and he had to take my van.
I'll see if I can get out later or this evening. Thank you for the suggestions!

I hope you feel better soon!

Any update? You're close to being in labor! Feeling better?

I'm still here. The contractions really laid off yesterday. I went to the store this morning and I've been having them again. I need to get out and walk but the wind makes it really cold outside!
