    Default First appointment

    I go in on the 21st for my first official appointment. Sometime between now and then I have to go to the health department for a test to start my Medicaid because, despite repeated promises, DH still isn't getting health insurance through his job. I'm so EXCITED!!! DH wanted to keep this a secret, but I ended up telling my best friend here yesterday after her 18 and 19 year old sons (who work with DH) came to her with concerns that I was sick because I wasn't acting right. I guess I can't blame them for being concerned. She said she already suspected because she thought I had been acting off for a while. She's going to watch the kids for my appointments though so it worked out.

    Symptoms right now include fatigue, morning sickness, irritability, and generally feeling like I'm losing my mind. XD

    How is everyone elsefeeling? First appointments? Anything else noteworthy?

    I'm so glad I'm not the only one feeling like she's losing her mind! I'm on information overload, I think. Otherwise feeling pretty good. Kinda crampy, kinda bloated, kinda sleepy (though I dropped my coffee habit cold turkey two weeks ago, so that could be part of that), and holy pregnancy boobs. No morning sickness, though!

    It's killing me to not tell anyone. While I do love having a (big) secret with just DH, he doesn't really care to hear me whine about being bloated every night.

    My first appointment is Feb. 25th - can't come soon enough!

    My first appointment is tomorrow (2/6) and right now I'm just worried about getting that Fifths Disease immunity test result... symptoms come and go for me but for sure fatigue, sore boobies and some queeziness but nothing too bad (yet). With my first child I had evening sickness that I likened to feeling really hung over, so we'll see if that returns or if this pregnacy brings something new!

    Kelli = 37 DH = 38 (same bday) DSD=15 and DSS=8 and DS=4 born at 32 weeks 3 days on 10/8/08.

    sd2010, glad you're not feeling too bad. Yay for bigger boobs! I remember that with my first. I've been pg or bfing for over 6 years and mine have already grown over 6 inches so I'm actually hoping to avoid anymore this time around. With still tandem nursing my younger 2 I'm hopeful but not convinced.

    Kbull I hope your test comes back clear. Glad you don't have to wait a long time.
