bummer, I wanted to know what it was!! Hope it's all fine.
dd has a lump in her leg.. on her inner thigh its hard and about an inch in size... she had an ultrasound and bloodwork. the dr that read the ultrasound said lymph node but the bloodwork does not support that.... her dr thinks that its just a lymph node too and hopes it shrinks to normal size soon. she goes back on monday to have it rechecked... i am doubtful that its just a lymph node... when i look at locations of lymph nodes on anatomy pics online there isn't any on the inner thigh where her lump is... her dr said that if its not smaller by monday then shes going to give her an anitbiotic... and if that does not work then its a referral to the childrens hospital (hour and a half drive away...) for surgical consult...
i am hoping its nothing but losing hope every day that it stays large and solid...
Oh momma...I'm so sorry!! (((Big hugs)))!!! Praying the antibiotics help!
It is so worrisome. My dd had a bone cyst when she was 18months that resulted in a fracture. We had to follow up every 6wks for a few months to make sure the fracture healed and the cyst wasn't returning. We need to do the one year follow up soon. The issue was that because of it's unusual location there was a possibility it was a tumor and had a higher than average possibility of being cancerous. I'm praying for a clear follow up.
Thinking of you! Please keep us posted!!
Fwiw, my sister had a huge painful lump on the inside of her upper thigh recently. It was an infected lymph node, and they were able to treat it and it went away. She went to 2 doctors. The second doctor told her that they were going to do more tests and sent her to a specialist. It was an infected lymph node.

I hope it goes away soon. It's so nerve wracking not knowing what's wrong.
