Human consumption of diatomaceous earth

Anyone know anything about this? I know it's normally used for animals but I've been reading for weeks on humans using it and decided we are going to give it a try. Mostly for Kai, who still has unexplained tummy aches constantly and no medical reason has been found.

I know this is an old post. But my parents in law used diatomaceous earth and it didn't hurt them I can't remember the benefits but it was positive.
