It went really well! Since we wound up going in early, because both my doctor and myself thought I was farther along then I actually was, they automatically set me up for the Doppler when I was to early so I received a freebie ultrasound. My LO was doing great and had a steady and strong heartbeat. I was worried due to a couple days of spotting so it was a big relief to see that HB. They did tell me to come in for a rogham shot if it reaches the amount of a light period or up to seven days of spotting. The spotting is a little nerve wracking but I am kind of great ful I am so miserable. I was wondering if it was normal to see your LO at 10 weeks with an empty bladder with a belly U/S instantly. I mean there was no looking around or searching s/he popped up the instant they touched the instrument to my belly. Was not expecting that and I thought they wouldn't be able to see it for a few more weeks with that machine.

I'm glad your mind is at ease. Yes my first appt was at 10 weeks and my little bean showed right up.

Glad you got to see your LO. I was able to see mine at 7 weeks with a full bladder with a belly u/s. I don't think the technician had to search around alot to find him/her.

Sounds like a great appointment! Its always a good one when we get to see oue LOs! I think most u/s can see the baby from on the outside at 10 weeks.
