Default What is is about being 9 months pregnant and NEVER being able to Sleep?

Perhaps it's the unbelievable size of my uterus, crammed ever so not-gently against my diaphragm. Maybe it's the delicate way my sweet baby girl kicks the crap out of my ribs at exactly 12:22 every night. Or it could just be that ever present ache like someone punched me in the crotch. Nothing like a bruised crotch to keep a lady up at night.....

Whatever it is, Somewhere between the feeling of slow suffocation and the ability to hold only 1 tablespoon of urine in my bladder at any given time, I'm finding sleep a little hard to locate.

So Sandman, have mercy and please come to my house in Tennessee. I'll make you raspberry tea and cookies. I'll even let you have a couple of my secret stash Pepperidge Farm and not make you eat the kids' gross Chips'Ahoy.....Well, maybe.... better hurry before the good ones are all gone.

Oh boy am I there with you! The I also JUST broke my fever of 101.3....that wasn't helping me to sleep. I feel like a zombie. My son and I got the flu
I feel like it would be better if when I did fall asleep it would be more restful.....

I'm sorry ladies! I can tell you that delivery doesn't change much very quickly. It's still hurts to sneeze, and I didn't even tear....last night I had cramping so bad I actually dreamt I was in labor again, now my boons ache and my bladder stays full from the insatiable thirst generated from breastfeeding....lol. But I can tell you bending over, putting socks on, and breathing has become much easier.

Not much longer ladies! You're in the home stretch!!

    Hang in there, Momma's!

Chels, I got the flu 8 days before Fletcher was born and it was rough! After my fever broke is when all the coughing and sinus stuff came. Take it easy and rest as much as you can!

After this you're on to a whole new sleep deprivation! At least you have the little one to make it easier to swallow.

We are days and nights mixed up here. My boy sleeps amazing during the day and not at all at night!
