He's not transverse and he's NOT ready!

Oh my god! I am glad he's not transverse, he's head down and everything looks great. I am not dilated a bit! Not effaced, nothing! The US tech told me that he's around 9lbs give or take (between 8-10lbs) so her wild guess was 9lbs, lol. I saw him and he has a big belly, but and chunky little arms and legs . The midwife did a cervix check but couldn't tell if I was dilated since I have a posterior cervix? Whatever that means. But she didn't feel anything and since it HURT she stopped the cervical check right away.

Oh, she won't induce me just because he's big and it would be my 3rd induction which could end up being a c-sec and I have expressed my wish to not resource to that unless it is completely necessary. She suggested I try some of the old wive's tales and see if they work , I am taking EPO three times a day and today I drank an entire pitcher of pineapple.

That's it for today, my due date is on Super bowl Sunday (like if we watched sports lol) so, all we have left to do is lots of DTD, EPO and just wait until baby decides to meet us.

I'm glad he's not transverse, but so sorry you didn't get better news in terms of progression! Maybe labor will just hit out of nowhere! I have heard of that happening. Is this how it was with your other little ones?

Wait - so she is saying that since you have already been induced twice it is more likely to end in a c-section if you are induced again? I'm curious, since I've been induced twice as well.

I'm so glad baby is positioned well, but sounds like some deeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee eeeeeeeeeeeeeeep squats are in order to get some pressure of his head on your cervix to help with dilation. EPO will help too. Walking and lunges can't hurt. I can't advocate for DTD - sounds too uncomfortable!

Wow!! He's one big dude. EPO and real fresh pineapple is what helped me and of course squats. Do you have an exercise ball? Posterior cervix means it falls toward your back. I think they are really hard to get to. Are you doing the EPO vaginally? You could always try a breast pump too.

Somebody just asked me the same exact question! I just typed what the MW said, lol. She said 3rd babies like to "play games" with mom and sometimes you just go on your own and it could happen all the sudden or stall for days. I have an appointment on Monday which will make it 39 weeks, I wonder now what would the next option be. She said, third and more babies just get a little too picky and she doesn't want to start pitocin and stress the baby out when there is no "real reason" for it. So we are just going to sit and wait. I totally and absolutely want to avoid a c-sec at all costs if possible. I do not have time to recover from one, I don't have family close, it would be really hard on us and BF and my other girls.

We DTD the other day two days in a row! The first day huuuuuurt! The second was glorious, lol. DH has strep so there is no loving going on right now and I need him to HELP ME , he got a shot of antibiotics yesterday and we are hoping that thing starts working, he has to take DD to the Justin Bieber concert tomorrow and help me get labor started

I made fresh pineapple juice for me and my 3 year old ended up drinking 75% of it hahaha , she cracks me up! She called it banana juice (because it is yellow) and tonight I will start inserting the EPO.

I sold my pump, darn it!

Maybe just go buy one of those cheap hand pumps? It might help and worth the couple of dollars to see.

Sorry your progress isn't where you want it to be Like others have said maybe labor will just start when you're least expecting it I have never heard about 3rd babies being so difficult! That is not good news for me since this is my third lol lets hope we don't follow that trend!

I thought 3rd babies were easy too, maybe it is because of my previous history? Like being induced and having a transverse baby, etc. I am super short too with a small body frame.

I'm only 5'3" and small-framed too, so this whole idea of the 3rd baby being a problem freaks me out!

My third was alright. I had the least progress with her, but she was the only one I went into labor early with (4 days). Both my boys I was late and a lot more effaced/dilated with.
