Was reading another post and this got me thinking about our crib. We currently have a drop-side crib. It is sort of a family heirloom type deal. My mom bought it for when I was born and kept it so I could use it for my children. I used it with DD and had no reservations about using it. I love the crib, it has my teeth marks and my daughter teeth marks in it. We bought all new hardware for it before DD was born and none of it is plastic so there is no chance of it breaking down. But with this new law I am a little hesitant. It meets all other standards except for the drop down side. I can not decide if we should use it again ( I really do love this crib) or maybe buy a new one and maybe use it for as a new family heirloom for our new LO. What are your thoughts and opinion about the new law?
