    Default Cautious

Hey ladies I am cautiously joining you....heres a little of what is going on...
Last November I started what I thought was my period on 11/29/12. I went in for a pap on Dec 13th and I had woke up with some spotting so I told my dr we had been TTC and so she did a urine test it came back postive. The bleeding eventually got heavier so I went in for a blood test and my HCG was only 47 and Dec 23rd AF showed. I went back in to the dr and they did more urine and blood test my HCG went down to 1. He said I had an early m/c on 11/29/12.

On Jan 18th I got a very faint bfp on a hpt and after 5 more test on Jan 21st both lines were dark! So of course I am overjoyed, but a tad nervous. I have been having some lower back pain, which I know can be normal. I am also nervous cause I got pg so quick after the early m/c. Has anyone every experienced this? Would love any feedback thanks!

Also I'm going into the dr tomorrow not sure what all he will do hoping for a u/s though

ETA: We have been TTC since FEB 2012. DD1 was conceived on a 2nd round of clomid. I was begining to think I would have to use the clomid again. I wanted to give it a year before I went that route though.... I recently lost 26 lbs and pretty sure it had something to do with my ovulation.

Welcome to the room! I don't have any personal experience, but I would think that a loss so early would not cause any problems with the next cycle as long as your uterine lining had recovered. Fingers crossed for you!

Welcome to the group and congrats!! I can understand your trepidation in this matter. It was a yr ago that I had a m/c so we have been trying longer, but the fear is still very real for us. I have been having back pain and hip pain so bad that I have had to sit on a heating pad since I do not want to take any medication for it. Like some have said, as long as your lining is ready then there is no reason to worry and I was told that you wouldn't get pregnant if the lining wasn't ready to accept a fertilized egg. We tried for an entire yr and I was ready to do fertility testing when we got our BFP and my cycles after m/c were so bad I would be out of commission and curled in the fetal position for most of the day. Try to keep your thoughts positive. Take it easy and rest, best advice I can give for the pain. Praying for you and for a happy and healthy and long 9 months for you and for your baby.

Welcome and good luck! After my early MC, my midwife said I could immediately start TTC again. Fingers crossed for a sticky bean!
