    Default Mama Cloth Question

I have a TON of prefolds DD never used. Couldn't I use them as the inner pads for mama cloth? Like cut and sew them?

I don't see why not. What fabrics would you put on the top and bottom?

Well, I have flannel, and I have some coupons for JoAnn's, so I could get PUL if it's needed. Not sure if I would need PUL though? If I did would I sew it as the second to last layer? Like flannel - "prefold" pad" - PUL - flannel?

Yeah, that would work. You could probably use PUL has the last layer, too. I also have pads that have fleece on the bottom (instead of PUL) and they have worked well.

Thanks! I have a bunch of fleece lying around, so even better!

I have pads that are just pure cotton and I love them. They breathe very well and I use them when my period is not very strong or when it is strong but I am home and can change often. I have pads with PUL and pads with fleece on the bottom. I prefer the ones with fleece.

That's what I was wondering - I am heavy for 2 - 3 days, so I definitely would need something. Would fleece work just as well as PUL? I'd rather not spend the money if I don't have to.

I think that fleece and PUL are pretty much the same in terms of protection
