What to Expect when You're Expecting....

I finally convinced Greg to rent this movie and watch it with me. It was so funny... and good! Lol, I think it was better for us because we can relate to it... a friend of mine who doesn't have babies/been pregnant didn't think it was as funny. Greg even cried hahah... it was cute. There are some sad parts, like one of the girls does m/c. They don't actually come out and say it, or go into details but they made it so you knew what was going on. It was a great movie otherwise and I definitely recommend it!!

I've been afraid to watch this movie, because media is well-known for portraying childbirth as dangerous and life-threatening with drugs and interventions being our saving grace. I remember watching The Back Up Plan and they totally trashed home birth in that movie, and it has scared me off any hollywood representation of pregnancy and birth.

We bought and watched this movie the day I got my confirming answer bfp. We enjoyed it and DH kept mentioning things he was going to have to deal with. I loved the scene where the store owner gave her speeck about the glow. I feel like that myself!
