Unhappy OMG i cant catch a break!

so hard to be typing this...

yesterday i was at motherhood maternity buying a new bra and shirt when i felt like i peed on myself.... i asked to use the bathroom and noticed i was GUSHING blood.... i freaked out and told DH we need to leave. i put on a new pad and walked from the store to the food court ( its a VERY tiny mall ) i soaked another pad just from walking 10 mins. i decided to just go straight to the ER and by the time i got there ( 4miles away ) i already went through that pad. the cramping and pain started to get really intence while i was at the ER in the waiting room. they wouldnt give me anything for the pain after 4 hrs of waiting in the waiting room they finally took me to the back and put me in a room... they ordered an IV and more blood work. shortly after a U/S tech came in to do and U/S... it turned out the fetus is still alive and moving with a HB of 145 but my cervix is open and there is blood around the placenta.

the doc wasnt very optimistic and told me most likely i'll miscarry i've seen this happen too many times for me to have hope. the doc told me not to use my doppler because the stress of finding the hb or not finding it can make me stress more. it just seems like when i was ready to announce i was pg all H3ll breaks loose. i came home and cried myself to sleep thinking " what did i ever do to deserve such heartach and pain." its so unfair. i told DH if i dont carry to term than i want to go back on BC because i cant handle this depression. i was so distraught and depressed today i didnt even want to go to church. i know my dad told the pastor and i'm not ready to talk to people about this. i just dont want to hear from everyone "oh everything happens for a reason, or i know how you feel. " it breaks my heart i might be leaving you guys. i was so sure that since i past the 1st tri everything would be ok and i wouldnt have anything to worry about. the depression eats me up and i dont know what to do.

Oh honey, how awful! Have you called your OB? I really hope that you get to keep this baby. This is so hard!

I am so so sorry. How terrifying. I can't believe the ER kept you in the waiting room so long while in so much pain. I know it's so had to have hope right now so I am hoping and praying for you that the dr was wrong and you will not miscarry. Has the bleeding and cramping stopped?

no the bleeding hasnt stopped... it slowed down but not stopping yet! as for the cramping it still really hurts but Tylenol didnt do anything last night when they gave it to me so i havent taken any at home. i was pissed they couldnt/ wouldnt give me anything else to cut the pain. they could have given me nothing for all it did.

i didnt call my OB because they are closed on the weekends and i have an appointment on the 22nd. if i make it that far... the U/S showed it was measuring around 15w 4d ( a week ahead of my dates)

Oh hun I am thinking and praying for you that all will be alright. Your OB will probably see you tomorrow and mostlikely put you on bed rest. I am so sorry you are dealing with this.

im ok with bed rest if it means we get to keep this baby! my pain is not bad anymore and the bleeding has slowed down alot. i'm only spotting with the occasional heavy flow.. i'm just scared and dont want to go through another lose. my OB asked me at my last app if i was wanting to tie my tubes after this pregnancy? i told her yes since i have such a hard time carrying a child. but i'm hoping that all this pain and bleeding is really nothing and i have a VERY boring rest of my pregnancy. the ER doc put me on pelvic rest which i'm ok with too. i'm trying to rest and drink lots of water its kinda hard to stay comfy though.

I hope things are ok and baby keeps baking for another 5-6 months! Get lots of rest and call your OB first thing in the morning. Or you could call and have the doc on call paged tonight if you want to talk to someone sooner.

I am so sorry that you are going through such a stressful time! I would definitely call my OB's office after hours and have him or her paged.. See if they can do a cerclage ASAP! Did they mention anything about placenta previa? Try not to despair too much, I know how difficult it must be for you. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Definitely don't wait til your next appointment demand to be seen tomorrow! Did they say how far dilated you are? Do strict bed rest, pelvic rest.. try to keep your feet elevated as much as possible.. really the only thing you can take for pain is Tylenol as ibuprofen isn't recommended in pregnancy and will cause you to bleed more. Keep us updated!

what is cerclage? i'll call my ob in the AM but for now i'm just resting not doing much just sitting around. the bleeding has stopped for the most part. they didnt say i was dialated cm. not even a finger it was just opened. i've been trying not to do anything but just lay around and watch Netflix. i've stopped breaking out in tears as much. the pain is still there but not as bad. ill let you know how tomorrow goes!

A cerclage is a stitch around the cervix to keep it closed...they remove it at the end of the pg. It's commonly put in when mom's cervix is shortening/opening prematurely or they'll put one in around 12wks if a mom has a history of incompetent cervix. I'm so glad things are calming down for you (((hugs)))! KU P...will keep praying!

I was just thinking of something...could you have a sub chorionic hemmorage? I have a friend who did and she had bleeding that started and stopped from the beginning until her 6 month and then around that time her body must have resolved it.

Did they do an ultrasound for you at the ER?
