    ...BOY! Either would have been fine of course, but we're excited about a different dynamic in the house. My 7 y/o is very excited; my 3 y/o may need some time to warm up to the idea. She was convinced she'd be having a little sister.

    Congrats! My DD wanted a little sister, too, but quickly became pretty excited about (another) brother.
    Jessica (32) and Ryan (31). Madelyn born August 5, 2009 and Malachi born December 23, 2010. Lost a loved baby 02/29/12, 05/14/12 and 07/05/12 all due a serious allergic reaction to fabric softener.

    Congratulations! That's exciting. I'm sure she will come around in time. Our son is slowly accepting the fact that he is having another brother and not a sister.

    WOOOOO! Congrats! My daughter cried when she found out she was having a little brother instead of a little sister. She told me girls are supposed to have sisters and boys are supposed to have brothers. Took her a couple days before she climbed on the little brother band wagon.

    Awww...it's sad when they're disappointed. I think they all warm up eventually, though.
