I said I wouldn't have another U/S until the big 20 week one, but my stubborn little bean wouldn't cooperate for the Doppler yesterday. So, I got to see the most beautiful little baby on the screen. I'm in love, for sure.

Oh, and I've set some kind of first trimester weight gain record. 11 lbs since Jan 9! Lol. I did this first time, too...and only gained a total of 25. I started this pregnancy 6 lbs less, and I have a feeling I will end up at the same weight as last time.

Blood pressure was good, though. 98/54. Woot!!

Yay for seeing the baby! My peanut did the same thing at my 12 week appointment so I had to have an ultrasound too.

That's a nerve wracking way to get an extra ultrasound! I'm hoping I don't join the club you ladies have going on.

Yeah, I was a nervous wreck. I've had some not so good results before when a heartbeat couldn't be found .

I was being playful with my response, ... just thinking about my own heart stopping because of that, but not even thinking about possible previous experiences with bad news following that. I'm so sorry you've had to go through that before and SOOO relieved for you that it didn't turn out that way this time!

Ha! And my OB/GYN nurse just called with my Progesterone numbers, which dropped a little (they did that with both my boys) so they are increasing my dosage to 300 from 200 ... but then my doc also said to do a follow up u/s in a week. Huh?? He's never wanted a follow up u/s for lower Progesterone numbers before. I have an appointment scheduled for 3/27 and he said we could do the u/s then unless my Progesterone numbers dropped again next week ...

I honestly think that he wants to confirm the vanishing twin b/c it was the other doctor in the practice that conducted the 8 week u/s that confirmed only 1 baby. Hm. Guess I'm destined to be in this "extra u/s" club regardless. ;)
