Water Broke!
We decided to have one last date night and as we were sitting down to dinner i felt a trickle and ran to ladies room thinking baby kicked my bladder and it kept trickling so we hightailed it out of restaurant and called ob and they told me to come in. Definitely amniotic fluid and i am in a room but contractions arent too close so i am going to walk for a while. Hopefully Sullivan will be here by morning!

Wow. So cool. Having the opportunity (in a restaurant no less!) to look at your husband and say 'my water broke'---Priceless! What a cool way to start the big event.
We are home!!! It is so funny because I came out of the bathroom and said to my husband, "I don't want to alarm you but...I think my water just broke!" It will be a story we will laugh about for so long. My husband said, "are you sure?" We ran home so I could change and as I jumped out of his car, amniotic fluid sloshed out of my boots and he said, "I guess your water did break!"
I got put into a L&D room at 10:00 and really started contracting hard and fast and requested epidural at 11 and he was here at 12:12!! Since he was born before 37 weeks, he had to have his temperature and blood sugar monitored (but stayed with me the whole time) and he maintained a good temp and blood sugar the whole time. My mom had to run to the mall and get him some newborn clothes because I only had 0-3 months and he is swimming in all those outfits.
My girls are thrilled to pieces and wanted to stay home from school today and snuggle but I told them they will have plenty of snuggles when they get home. Hope you guys are all doing well and can't wait to hear about your upcoming births!
I'm so glad he is doing well!!!! And yeah that is quite a birth story for sure! And yay for a fast labor! Congrats, mama - I'm just so happy for you guys!!!
