    Default doppler??

    so i got one but was wondering do i NEED the gel? or can it work without the gel? i've never had one and the gel was 24.99 for 1oz :o

    if i need it where can i buy it?

    I read somewhere that you can get gel from CVS or a local pharmacy. You need it for the Doppler to work.

    Popping in...

    You have to use a gel for it to work, for sure. You can buy generic personal lubricant (similar to ky jelly) at any store, just make sure it is WATER-based. Anything oil based can damage the wand from what I understand. I used the generic Wal-Mart brand stuff and it worked wonderfully.

    I use aloe for mine and it works great. KY's original formula works as well but aloe is cheaper. But you need the gel for it to work properly.

    I also use the green aloe for mine. Works better than the Doppler Gel that came with my Doppler. I tried using the lubricating jelly the other night, but it leaves a very sticky residue. You can get the aloe at most of the Dollar stores for a dollar
