Hello all. We found out we were expecting awhile ago but due to a couple really short and light periods we were not exactly sure how far along we were. Had our first appt yesterday where they did a dating ultrasound and found out we are 6 weeks 2 days. We got to see our little baby and hear the heart beat. Not really sure what the heart rate was but it sounded strong and steady to me. It really helped relieve some stress to see that HB. We had a MMC before our DD and it worried me going into this pregnancy. Anyway, excited to be here H&H 8 months to everyone.

Hi Katy! Glad to have you here. I have my first appt. with the midwife on Tues. According to the online calculators my DD will be 8-29-13, so we're on the same track! I'm glad you got to hear a heartbeat. This is my first so I don't know what to expect. I am hoping I get to hear a heartbeat or see the baby at my appointment...it would make me feel sooo much better.
