    Default Yesterday was scary!

    Everyone,

I haven't been feeling well. This MS still will not go away.... So I went to bed not feeling well and then I got up not feeling well.

Yesterday I got into the shower and I was almost done when I started seeing stars. I have had that before, and I thought it would go away. But it didn't. It got worse. My body was going to give out when I laid down in the shower to try and make it go away.

Then I thought the kids are watching cartoons, so I better get out of the shower. I grabbed my towel, thought I turned the water off, and I blacked out.

I guess when I fell, I hit my eye on something sharp. (I still don't know what it was) I was passed out on the floor and when DS#1 walked in, I had blood all over my face!

I call DH and my doc and I didn't know I had blood all over me. But after I got cleaned up I went to my doc. Baby and I are okay, but I have stiches below my eyebrow and above my check. They were 1/4 of an inch deep.

Turns out I have low blood pressure and my doc said that if I ever feel that way again, to sit down. And NOT to take a shower!

Oh my goodness, I'm glad you're okay!!

I hope you'll be able to feel it coming on again if it happens (and I hope it doesn't) and that you'll be able to sit down somewhere safely!!

    How scary!!!

Oh my goodness, I'm so glad you are ok. That is so scary!

I had a dear friend pass out while pregnant with her first child - on the NYC subway train! She "came to" in some old lady's arms. Luckily NYC gets a bad rap - but is actually full of very kind people, and they all made sure she was ok.

DS sounds like he was a brave boy!

Ah, I'm so glad you are ok. Please take it easy!!!

DS #1 is a very sensitive little man. He has been through so much in his 8 years! And is NOT the type to stay calm. And when I saw him starting to freak out, I starting giving him jobs to help. And he was so awesome! I keep calling him my Hero and he is feeling so proud!

My doc said this will more than likely continue until Little June Bug is born. I just have Low Blood Pressure. Weird you can take something for High Blood Pressure, but not Low Blood Pressure. So I am lucky I wasn't driving. I have to really watch myself and when I feel that way, just sit down. Or if driving, pull over.

This little cutie in there has been so rough on me! But I am still looking forward to meeting him/her.

So glad you are okay. I have low blood pressure too so this is all good to know and you are right. There is nothing to take for low BP. My doctor told me to eat more salt. You don't hear that one very often. So glad you had your little hero around to help too. Stay safe mama!

A friend told me about salt too. She said that her doc said to add some to water. Sad thing is salt makes my lips swell.

Glad you are ok. With high blood pressure, I have never experienced this but I bet I would freak out! I always take my phone into the bathroom with me. Maybe a good idea. Take care momma!!!!
