    Default Pets & Labor

For those of you who have fur babies, have they acted any differently during your pregnancy?

How about those of you that have already had babies at some point- did your pets 'predict' your labor?

    Just curious.

My 1 cat has for me and also my friend who ended up going into early labor. She came over and was just talking n hangin out and tank (who never bugs anyone over) just jumped up on her and started nudging her in the face then he would look at her belly and then nudge her back in the face over and over, she would put him back on the floor and he would jump right back on her and kept nudging her and looking at her belly. after a few times of him doing this I told her to be careful he might be trying to tell her something. 2 days later she was rushed to the hossy for a placental abruption and emergency c-section @ 34 weeks. And with me he gets really lovey constantly for about a week before labor starts for me.

With my first my dogs stopped playing after I got further along in my pregnancy. They just kind of became mopy and less energetic. They did nothing while I was in labor. We are petless now so maybe my daughter's behavior is a good indicator her only child years are coming to an end?
