Default What is a "Why Wait - Let's Celebrate! Pull-UpsŪ House Party"?

I just got an invitation to a "Why Wait - Let's Celebrate! Pull-UpsŪ House Party". The mom that sent it to me said in the message that it is a potty training party for her daughter and all her potty training friends. I have never heard of a potty training party. What is that? I can obviously ask her but it's 10:30 PM so it's not the time ... LOL. Can anyone enlighten me?

It's probably this: a sponsored party. You'll likely get pampers goodies to try/take home. http://www.houseparty.com/event/pullupscelebrate

I hate hosting parties and I hate potty training. That is one of my worst nightmares rolled into one giant ball of mess and obligation. Ugh! Let us know how it goes.

no idea what it is or why... but if it's with people you like and/or your kid would have fun, why not?

You are right ... My friend e-mailed that it is a "house party" (I am not familiar with the company/website) and that she applied to host the pull up one and got approved. I guess the company is sending her a bunch of samples as a form of advertisement. I won't be able to make it as we have a Dr appointment that day so I won't be able to post how it went. Sounds like just a way to get kids and moms together and sell them something. Both my kids are potty trained, so it would be hard to talk me into buying potty training supplies anyway.

I've always wanted an excuse to bring a kitty litter cake to a party. A pull ups party sounds like as good an excuse as any. You should offer to bring dessert!

Maha, you are too funny! When I worked, a friend brought this cake to the office for Halloween ... I don't remember if anyone dared to eat it. LOL

Someone brought it to one of DD's school events. It was good.
