Yeah...I agree. I for some reason remembered the AM one being darker...and that was 1st morning, so maybe today's would have been better if it wasn't 2nd.
I can see it to!!! will be stalking for tomorrow's test.
I see it! Did you test out trigger? I had the lightest of lines 8 dpiui with the twins. Can't wait for today's test.

Hi guys! Yes, I tested out my trigger...it was out at 5DPO.
So this mornings line is not much darker than yesterday's, though I do think it is easier to see...thus somewhat darker. Still have to wiggle it, and my computer screen to see it though.
I had a thought....I dip in a cup, I know it used to be 5 sec in your stream and 20 sec if dipping in a cup. On this box of tests the directions said 5 sec stream and 5 sec if dipping, so I dipped them all for just the 5 secs. I wonder if I was still dipping the 20 secs that the directions used to say if the test would be darker? Did you all make the 5 sec switch or do you still do 20 sec if dipping in a cup?
Here is this mornings...Does it look darker to you, or is it just me?

lol -- here's my sad contribution from past experience.
Leave it for an hour or so, take it apart, and put the test strip on a piece of white paper.... take a few pics from the top and side angle... (I think you got a DSLR recently didn't you?) I had great luck during the summer actually catching a line really well in a picture that I was really iffy on while looking at it whole.

I think that pic comes too dark on my ipad and i cannot see it. But i have never seen a test that says 5sec in a cup, i have only seen them 20 sec. I will check it from my laptop upstairs which has a better reolution.
It looks more defined and slightly darker to me!! I still do 20secs...basically until the urine has passed over the entire window :-)

Yeah I am thinking 5 seconds is just not long enough. I mean on these tests, I had already set it down flat on the counter before the urine was halfway over the window. I am going to test again in a couple hours and Iam going to dip it for 20sec. I don't know why the instructions changed...I am sure their tests didn't change, they make the best ones out there.Originally Posted by kellyowens

I couldn't hold it any longer. So after a 5 hour hold and a 20 sec dip...I am not feeling too hopeful anymore
If I am being honest with myself I almost don't see anything anymore.
I am done testing for a day or two I think.

Huge hugs hon! You have to remember, too, that each pregnancy is different! I've been pregnant 8 times now and the earliest I ever tested positive was 9dpo and that was with Carter (and with Wondfo cheapies which are more sensitive than FRER), who was obviously the most recent. I'm a testing fiend and usually end up starting at 8dpo or so and there have been times when I haven't gotten a bfp until 12-13dpo, too. Even with Ava I didn't get a positive until 11dpo. So you're not out yet!!!

I have always found dipping a frer or an answer gives for a mush less reliable in an accurate result. In my opinion it is best to put them in the urine stream especially early on.. I can still see something though on your tests.

(((Hugs)))... I can still see a line but it is lighter which I would totally expect later in the day. I understand wanting to wait to test again though...hope you can relax and just enjoy the first day of the new year without stressing over testing :-) . Maybe try to hold out until your original test day on Thursday? Praying for an awesome unmistakeable bfp the next time you poas...thinking of you!
