Yep we have almost a foot of snow but after not having much of anything for 2 years its quite a bit and DS loves it.
M2S- I am sorry pt is going rough. We begin next week and its going to be very rough for us and I am honestly not looking forward to it but he is telling us when he pees and only going though 3 diapers a day well I think its time.
Yay! Thank you! My big girl turns 3 today. She is soooooo happy and excited.

Went shopping tonight and got me a few tanks and new bras. I have not bought anything like that in a long while so it felt good to take care of my self.

colds are running rampant though our house and I feel horrible. UGH to top it off Im sick of these nutso pregnancy dreams that feel so real. How is everyone else doing?
I am quite sick. Not sure if it is the flu but since it is an awful cough with chest congestion and I am an asthmatic things are not looking good. I've been taking Tylenol around the clock for two days to keep the fever low. Once the Tylenol wears off I starts with chills and shivering.

UGH! I am sorry Jessica. That stinks. DS has picked up a real wet sounding cough and it sounds horrible. I hope your flu/bad sickness is gone soon.
At the ER now. My chest really hurts.

They think that I have the flu (yes I got the shot because the flu is life threatening quite easily for me). If the test comes back negative then they will say bronchitis and start me on antibiotics. They gave me two nebulizer treatments, two bags of fluids and because they were so slow my fever got up to 102.5 before I got more tylenol. That got my fever down to 100.7 and it was 101.3 at discharge. Mind you it was at 98.8 when I got there because I kept on top of it with the tylenol. They almost admitted me but instead started steroids which I am to continue for three more days and a 5 day prescription for tamiflu which I am also to start tonight.
So for everyone who says that the flu is no big deal imagine yourself an asmatic whom is also pregnant and think again. 24 hours after the fever started I'm in the ER because I can't breathe.

Thank you. They would have also done q chest x-ray if I had not been pregnant.

I saw in another post that Jessica is back in the ER, coughing up blood and still with a high fever. Say a prayer for her and the baby!!

Ugh guys I am expecting guests in 2 hours for New Years and I just can't get my butt off the couch. Kinda wish it was just going to be me and DH tonight. But we have a new house to show off and a big announcement to make! Hope you all have a very happy new year!! I'm so happy to say goodbye 2012 and hello to 2013- year of the baby!!

UGH I am glad it is just going to be my parents, DS, DH and me. They are enjoying a wine toast and DS and me are going to drink some sparkling grape juice. DS and I most likely won't make it to midnight but oh well. I also need to convince him to change into his outfit real quick so i can get our announcement pic done so all DH has to do is press submit on FB. lol I am ready for this h3ll of a year to be over and to start fresh with a new year and new changes to look forward to.

I thank the Lord and all of you who prayed on my behalf. My fever went from 102 on Tylenol to normal in 30 minutes. I have not needed to take another dose. I have Influenza A and some low vitamins (maybe because they don't let you eat or drink until you have seen a doctor!). My lungs sound awful so maybe also pneumonia but they didn't want to x-ray because of the baby. He said that's good that I am 11 weeks pregnant. I need to follow up with my PCP who will be a brand new doctor for me.
Oh and coughing up less than a tablespoon of blood in the morning is likely to be from the throat due to the coughing although he saw no evidence of bleeding in my throat.
