Default a question of concern :$

Has anyone else had to do a US 4x in a row, a week from each other??? I have my 4th one this Thursday... The Dr keeps telling me that they can't get all the things on their list for me being in my 2nd trimester... I'm just really scared Any thoughts about this would be great... Gd luck to everyone

Hm. that's strange that they aren't being more clear with you. I've had weekly US with my youngest but that was early following an unexplained miscarriage. And I had weeklies with my oldest but not until 34W because he was measuring really big and my fluid level started to lower. They were all done by my doctor though and were like 5-10 mins nothing extensive. Just a sneek peek to check for heart beat early on before doppler could detect it, and later to check fluid and size.

Maybe they just keep forgetting stuff? That sounds scary though that no one can figure it all out at once! I'd be angry..

I hope all is well and they are just getting a good look at things.

I had u/s 4 weeks in a row with my DS, but it was really early on... 5.5 weeks and 6.5 weeks at the RE after fertility treatments, then at 7w after I had some bleeding, and 8w at the OB's office. Then he also needed several u/s later to check on a potential problem with one of the tubes from his kidneys which turned out to be nothing. I do remember there was something they couldn't see at his 20w u/s because of his position, so maybe that's all it is with your LO. Hope they get everything straightened out soon!

That seems odd to me.. unless they are being strictly honest that they keep missing out on a measurement!!

I'd be upfront with your OB and be assertive in getting a straight answer from them on exactly what they're missing from their list etc!! Its your body/baby and care!!

Can you see if you can go somewhere else to get it done? Maybe then you can get some answers. It sounds suspicious or that they don't know what they are doing. I hope everything works out ok!
