    Default More updates!

    Where IS everyone?!

I want to hear how y'all are progressing!

Had my 37.5 week appt Monday. I was dilated to a 2, effaced 70%, lost my mucus plug today, and have been really crampy with lots of BH. I didn't ever have any progress/show with my daughter and was induced at 38.5 (at 0cm/0%) for pre-e.

Im sooooo ready! Let's get this show on the road!

I have nothing to report. I'm finally done with work until after baby comes, but my wallet is going to hate me. I have an MFM appt tomorrow at 1pm, and then my OB at 3:15pm. They still have no idea when they're taking the baby, so I've just given up wondering. It'll be here when it gets here...

Nothing new here yet. I have an apt this Friday. I am hoping to see some progress, at my last apt I was 1cm and a little effaced. I have been feeling a lot of BH and have been having some stomach issues along with super tender breast. I maybe reading too much into it, but i'm telling myself that these symptoms are signs labor is coming soon.

Ill be 37w fri so baby can come when she wants after 11 today (I have my daughters dance preview). I'm super ready for this to all be over and start getting back to normal!! I've been busy getting the house ready for Christmas. The in-laws come this weekend for 2 days then my folks come Christmas eve & Christmas day. Husband has his last day of work for the year (has to use up his vacation time) today, so then we will just hang around. I will put him to work next week cleaning out the baby's closet & getting stuff up in the attic.

I'll be 35 weeks on Friday. We meet the Dr. at this new practice next week. So far we have met all the midwives who could possibly deliver us. The following week I have my second GBS test. Fingers & toes crossed it comes back negative! I have finally been feeling Braxton Hicks. He is head down and not engaged yet, but I think he must be toying with it. Every once in a while I can feel him super low. That's all I have.

    Hi Ladies....
for me, baby is still breech...head up right under my rib cage (very very uncomfortable, no wonder i am so out of breath).....i have lost hope he will turn so that means we are moving forward with schedule csection for jan. 4th.
I feel terrible physically and just want to curl in bed and cry......i am tired because i cannot sleep so that does not help.
This is my last week at work and that means i am ending my contract which makes me very sad....the thought of having to look for another job just depresses me to no end but nothing i can do so i better put that thought away every chance it tries to come up.

I feel like we are not ready...we have a couple of things to do but i wont get that nagging feeling until i can say we have everything ready.....(if that ever happens)

    that is all for me

Wow! Lots of exciting progress for everyone. I can't believe things are coming to a head for us all so quickly. I've been running around like a crazy person trying to get my ducks in a row with lots of nesting energy. This morning I woke up feeling like I'd been hit by a truck. I'm so sleepy and SO crabby. I had to apologize to my sweet hubby today for being such a pain. Oops.

Only a few more things left on my to-do list and none of them are extraordinarily pressing. All the important stuff is done: The nursery is set up, the hospital bags are packed, plans are set for our 20 month old, baby clothes washed and ready, etc. If I can do one thing per day I'll be happy with myself, and if I don't get them done before baby, I won't beat myself up.

Any of y'all doing things to try to get things moving along? I've been walking neighborhood hills with the double BOB, our daughter, and our two pups. Thinking about making eggplant parm on Saturday if I haven't gone yet, and trying to get my hubby excited to DTD, but I can tell the poor guy is not into the overly pregnant and awkward wife thing.

Not much here. We've been sick with one thing after another, and really frustrated. At this rate we will be sick when I go into labor and bring home a sick newborn. DD's behavior has been awful, I don't know if it's because she's been sick for so long, or because she just feels like something major is about to go down. She doesn't understand at all. So I'm really worried about how life is going to be with her and a newborn.
Almost everything is here, diapers, car seat, swing, and clothes. The rest we will try to get with taxes. I'm not due until the end of January anyways. Hope he can hold out! No contractions, BH are still normal, but man the sharp cervical pains make it impossible to walk. I still have a few more boxes to go through and unpack. I'm not ready, my body may be, with the sleepless nights either coughing or in pain, but I'm not ready!

I'm getting hopeless that this baby will ever come out. I see most of you are having some progress. I just went to the dr and he said nothing's happening so far. I barely have Braxton hicks, maybe one or two a day and unless she's moving I can totally forget that I'm pregnant, no pain, no pressure, nothing. I really don't want to be induced.
I've also been procrastinating on getting ready. I still haven't pack the hospital bag and the car seat is still in the basement waiting for me to have my car cleaned so that I can have it put in. The worst is that my hospital papers are still sitting on my desk to be filled out, I only got the papers over 2 months ago
I can't seem to get anything done.
