I have been trying to conceive for 5 weeks now

and I missed my period by 27 days. I took a pregnancy test and it was negative up to 3 days before i started. i had painful cramps (sometimes normal but these were more painful) and i got nauseated this time. It was not as heavy the first day as i normally am but its steady throughout today as well. Could i still be pregnant or not? help please... this is my first go around at any of this.

So, you tested when you were late and then you started bleeding? It sounds like a regular period to me.
