Still peeved at DH!!!

We've been fortunate enough over the last 5 yrs to have bought and been given a TON of boys clothing from NB to DS1's current size (5-6).

This summer when we were packing to move I put aside two big diaper boxes full of clothes that the boys never wore, or seemed extraneous etc.... and DH was to give it to his friend having a boy in the fall.

Well DH in his infinite wisdom gave his friends ALL of our baby clothes (I didn't even get to save their coming home outfits or anything) up to our 18/24 month stuff -- so we have ZERO baby clothes this round

If we have another boy, its going to be awefully sad to know we have to spend a ton of money on clothes again (at least I know by now approx. what we'll NEED and what is extra) -- but if its a girl, then at least I'll feel much better in knowing that she would have needed a lot of different stuff anyways (well not need... but you know what I mean

At least we still have everything else -- toys, high chair, swing, play mats etc.. etc.. etc... Think our car seat is still good too (will have to look at the expiration date soon).

I still think its a boy... but holding out hope for a girl!!

I got rid of my stuff too including my breast pump the week before I tested so I am in the same bot hoping for a girl so I can justify buying all new stuff lol

Oh no!!! Men's brains don't work correctly sometimes!!! Can you ask for the going home outfits back at least, or ask them to return them as the baby grows out of each size???

Im sorry. That sounds uber frustrating! Hopefully it will be a girl, and gives a great excuse for having to go shopping anyways....

That would make me really annoyed too! We will be screwed if we are having a girl -- not only do we just have boy stuff, but all my friends have boys and nobody I know has girl stuff to give away! Oh well, at least we have all the other stuff so it will mainly be clothes that we will need. I hope you are able to recover some of the stuff -- or that you have a girl and have an excuse to get new clothes anyway.
