Default Appointment yesterday - 4D pic of anacephalic twin

Yesterday I had another appointment. The fluid check did not go well. Parker's side the fluid levels were at 6, which is apparently perfect. Nathaniel's were at 10, and for the first time he swallowed, so they should be lower than they were because of that, instead they doubled in two weeks. This puts me at an even higher risk for preterm labor. The only way to relieve it is to drain the fluid, which could rupture the sac and then cause immediate labor. They told me, again, that something is wrong and there is nothing I can do but wait it out. I am glad nothing has happened yet, but I'm scared. I just want them to stay in until its time.

Good news is I don't know why I was worried about the glucose drink! It wasn't bad. I don't have the results yet though. My cervix check went well and so did everything else. They are growing nicely and we got some 4D pics. I'm excited to share.

Nathaniel is hard to see for me, I hate knowing that I cannot help my poor little guy.

Parker looks like James to me, this isn't a great pic, but on screen it was more obvious!

I'm sorry about the fluid. I know you don't need another thing to worry about. Beautiful babies though! I can only imagine hoe tough it is to see him but I hope it helps when the healing begins. Hugs.

It breaks my heart knowing that you are going through this. I hope your fluid levels return to normal. Keep positive.

I cannot begin to imagine how tough this all is for you..... but I see two beautiful babies I'm sorry about Nathaniel's fluid levels, a waiting game is probably the most unbearable thing. Sending good thoughts your way, hopefully your little boys will play the waiting game right and stay put for a while longer.

Sorry about the fluid check - I hope that improves a bit for you or at least doesn't get any worse.

I'm glad I can share these here. My friends act repulsed by the idea that I have pics of him and want to share them. It's like they don't understand that he is my baby and I love him. I mentioned that NILMDTS is coming and apparenty its disturbing that I will take pictures of my baby after he has died. I want to have pictures to look at when I miss him. It's hard for James, but he feels like Nathaniel is already dead because he won't "live" because he doesn't have a brain and views me as life support. It's probably different for him because he isn't carrying him and can't feel his little body moving around. He has already grieved, according to him, and has started to move on. I doubt it will be that way at birth, but we will see. Thanks for the support ladies.

Beautiful babies!! It breaks my heart that anyone would make you feel like you shouldn't show just as much love and pride for both babies. My heart aches for the reality of what you are and will be going through, but I love that you are willing to share your journey with all the ladies here. Thank goodness for such a great place to connect with people who are as devoted to our babies as we are!! You are all in my prayers and I hope the fluid level doesn't become more serious.

They are both precious!! Thanks so much for sharing them both with us!!!

I'm sorry you're going through such a hard time with those around you not understanding. I won't pretend I understand your situation because I've never walked in your shoes Momma (and I'm sure you'll understand when I pray that NO one has to go through what you are)!! I'm glad you have all these ladies here who will walk beside you the best we can!!

*hugs* Hope your fluid levels remain as stable as possible!!!
