Feeling relieved but a little cheated....

Well I had my first u/s on Monday and I was 6 weeks instead of the 7 I thought I was. I'm not worried as my dates are off but feel a bit cheated as I will have an extra week of worry and m/s, if all goes well. We saw the HB though which was dead exciting, but I thought I was being really good holding off the first scan until 7 weeks only to find I am only 6 weeks.

Sorry for the rant, especially when I should be grateful that i have got this far with my dodgy history.

Im glad you got to see the heart beat but im sorry you did not measure as far along

I understand what you mean with the dates. It's annoying bc technically I'm 8 weeks going by my last menstrual cycle but I know the day I conceived makes me only 6 weeks and I feel like I should be worrying like a 6 week pregnant person not like an 8 week pregnant person if that makes sense.
I think no matter what happens we will all be worrying until we give birth to our healthy babies, and then still be worrying about them for the rest of their lives!

My first u/s was about a week off but by 19 weeks I was measuring right on with my LMC and my dates changed. Feel free to stick with your original date!

thanks guys. had some bleeding today too so on a bit of a downer, I have m/c with heartbeats before, so finding it difficult to remain positive x

I hope that the bleeding stops! A heart beat is great news although I have miscarried after hearing a heart beat, too. Try not to worry!
