My DD Has been looking forward to making cookies all month. My nausea set in on Thursday..I'm still making cookies but I have to have the window open in the kitchen for fresh air! I know after a week or so I'll be better managing the nausea (or just used to it) but the thought if dealing with it for 6 more weeks is hard. I know it's worth it and I have found getting up and moving and getting fresh air helps! Anyone else start with nausea yet?

I started feeling nauseous before I even took a pregnancy test and it just keeps getting worse. I find eating little bits throughout the day helps me. In my past pregnancies my morning sickness never fully went away though.

I was able to bake cookies with my boys yesterday though! I just couldn't stomach eating any of them, they were way too sweet.

How do you handle the MS with kids? This is only my second and DD is 5 so it shouldn't be difficult. She understands so its no too bad but it seems she wants to lay on me and I just can't stand to be touched!!

for me smells are a big trigger, so I avoid things I know will smell & breathe through my mouth when I can't avoid it. but my DH is a SAHD, so he's always around to help!

When I had ms with DS2 I also did little snacks all day long and not big meals. I also bought some hard candy that was made from ginger and that helped a bit. But my ms wasn't too bad, I don't know if they would help with severe ms.

Thanks for the tips! I'm trying to eat small, bland snacks and that seems to be all I can get down...sometimes. It was the same with DD. I keep telling myself only 6-8 more weeks and I should feel han again. I feel bad for DH. He seems upset with me and frustrated because Im not really up for doing anything.
