    Default Zofran!

My OB is calling in a Zofran prescription for me since it helped so much when I was pregnant with my DS. I really hope that I am feeling better very soon. Ugh. I am constantly at the point of puking all day long.

How are all you ladies doing?

Zofran has been my best friend for the last few days. I've been having to take some leftover that I had in the cabinet for my boys. I hope and pray my insurance kicks in soon.

It is helping some. I may have to try two tablets soon. This time is so worse than either of the pregnancies with my two children. With the first I needed nothing, with my second I needed Zofran but this time is turning out to be much worse.

Make sure you ladies that are taking zofran are taking something to avoid constipation! Ask your dr what they recommend because they all have there own opinions

It seems like the constipation has started. And I might need to move up to taking two pills at once. Why is this so bad this time? Ugh!

I'd love to have twins (so would my DH as he wants to be done with little babies). I just hope that this passes soon.

Bummer! The Zofran always works very quickly since it is a pill you dissolve in your mouth. Did your OB put you on something that starts with a P?

It's something that starts with an m and I take it once every 6 hrs but I don't like the side effect list and m calling to get something else.

I am waiting on them to call me back and the nurse said I dont know why she gave you that when its for if you have HG and not just severe nausea. I hate when my doctor is not in office. I am taking it but I am only doing it like twice a day for when i first get up and before I go to bed so I can at least start and end ok. I just dont feel comfortable taking it all the time.

Hi, popping in from Aug. my EDD in aug 1 and MS is in full swing. First OB appt isn't until jan 2nd and I just called my doc and told them I haven't been able to keep anything down for 3days. They're calling in zofran for me. JEssica, how's it helping you? You sound the same as me..I'm hoping since its been a week or so you might be able to tell me if its working for you. I guess maybe I'm just looking for a sign of hope!

It is working in that I am about 40% better on Zofran (when I first started I was at 60% better). So I still feel sick I'm just not retching/vomiting. I may try taking two Zofran at one time soon if my overall nausea keeps getting worse. I do have constipation from it, though.

Thanks! I'm hoping to at least be able to eat something without retching. I feel like if I eat I'll feel better but when I try to it makes me gag. My nurse said its more important to drink and stay hydrated and that the food interest will return with the zofran. I know it's worth all of this, I just HATE feeling so sick...
