EDD now July 30th

My first appt went well this morning. Other than waiting for 30min past my appt time to be taken back..I was happy with my new doctors. The nurse did as much history as possible…mostly about my last pregnancy. Finally saw the dr at 10:30am. She did a pap and checked everything.

I told her about the pain in my lower right side and she had a small, older u/s machine in the room and checked everything out. No ovarian cyst or anything. Baby looks good and is in the uterus as I hoped. Doppler heartbeat was about 189bpm. And of course, I couldn’t help it, I got all weepy at the sound of the heartbeat. When we left, DH asked why….men just don’t get it…LOL

Anyway, everything looks good. My EDD is now 7/30 instead of aug 1st so i guess ill be posting here and August
I have to go to the lab at the hospital for my blood work anytime between now and my next appointment on Jan 28th.

I will see all 4 docs in the practice – 3 docs & 1 midwife – before my delivery. I loved the doc I saw today. She was excellent..so sweet, but didn’t sugar coat anything..just how I like it! It’s such a small hospital, I’ve heard nothing but good things about it from all the locals. I think this is going to be a great experience!

Yay for a great first appt! Glad you like your doc. It is always so emotional to hear that HB, especially for the first time. Men just don't understand!
