    Talking Week of Nov 18th

Not that much longer, everyone! How are you all feeling? Are you still working? Everything ready for the baby?

I just finished getting everything. It took me forever to gather stuff since I had hand-me-downs to sort through before I decided what needed to be bought new or used. I had someone lined up to lend us a bassinet but that fell through, so that was an unexpected expense. But now we have a neutral Travel Lite Crib by Graco that we can use for baby #3 too. (Here it is! http://www.toysrus.com/product/index...uctId=13069717) I took advantage of the BRU and TRU coupons that are coming in now that the holidays are apporoaching, and got 20% off the crib. If anyone needs big items still I recommend doing that too!

I've been getting soreness in my V area lately, I think it's because Damien is head-down and ready to go. He measured big a week and a half ago, and Doc said he was at least 5 lbs then (give or take a lb), so I'm sure it's his size and position that are making me sore. Also, sciatica is back with a vengeance. It was coming and going and barely moderate, but now it's 1/2 the day and moderate to severe depending on my activity level during the day.

Wrapping up things at work, too. I was originally going to work only until the end of November, but I lost a chunk of work time due to Sandy so I used PTO already, leaving me with not enough to stop working that early. So I'll likely at least do the first week of Dec, unless of course my Doc tells me otherwise and puts me on disability early in anticipation of having Damien in Dec as opposed to Jan.

Other than that, I'm ready. One more load of laundry waiting for Matt to finish then that's it. What a relief!

    Default Hello

I'm feeling great during day time but sleeping is becoming more and more uncomfortable. I wake up so cranky that my hubby has now realized not to talk to me too early.
Thankfully I've been lucky enough to be able to work mainly from home at my own pace so that's been a big help. I have one more work trip on Monday and then I can do everything from home.
Last week I think it was on Wednesday, we received 8 packages in the mail. They were all baby items that our friends and family had bought for us. It felt like Christmas arrived early
We were also lucky enough that our new neighbors had a great glider that they just wanted to get rid of so they gave it to us and we just had to order new cushions for it, otherwise it was in great condition.
My mother just got her tickets to come see us after the baby is born and the last thing now is for my MIL to get her tickets come here, we'll see how that goes. We've had some disagreements on how long she should stay...
Oh and a cherry on top to make last week even better was to hear that our best friend couples is having a baby early June

Well, so far the few things "we" have for baby either belonged to my daughter or I've bought on my own, since Jeff's being an @$$ and won't buy anything for the baby. We're having a shower at work, but no idea who will come or what we might get for baby. Jeff has barely told any of his family, so no gifts there...and his mom is paying back $500 he loaned her months ago SO HE'S BUYING A NEW RIFLE. Sorry for yelling, but I think you understand...At any rate, Jeff gets worse and worse as the due date gets closer, to the point where I don't think we'll stay together after the baby is born. He told he earlier he'd rewind 8 months if he could, and stop us from getting pregnant.

I have an OB appt tomorrow morning, and hopefully we'll be able to come to an agreement about the delivery date. My Endocrinologist told me how to switch back to the other OB, so I'm going to follow her advice. I'll update everyone tomorrow about that...

Right now, I'm exhausted from arguing with Jeff and I just want to go to sleep...

Sounds like everyone's getting a lot accomplished! We spent all weekend a couple weekends ago getting our infant clothes and necessities out of storage (since we're mid-complete home makeover right now) and washing them and setting up a room for the baby where we are living currently. I really would like to bring this baby home to our newly added-onto-remodeled home, but alas, I think that is out of the realm of possibility. Our builder is estimating that we'll be back in by the weekend before Christmas (unlikely, probably), which, even if that were the case, I think my OB will be very hesitant to let me go past the Friday prior (38 weeks) due to the pre-e diagnosis. How crazy would that be? Baby on Friday, move-in over the weekend, Christmas the following week!!!! I can't help but laugh at the hilarity at this point.

On thE pre-e end, things are going better than possibly expected. I was diagnosed at 28 weeks for spilling protein in my urine, headaches, and a previous pregnancy with pre-e. At 30 weeks, my proteins were down below the lower-end threshold level for diagnosis, and at 32 weeks, they came in even lower. I'd hate to jinx myself, but my body seems to have done away with the pre-e for now! My OB and her PA say that this is totally an anomaly and really very rarely (if ever) happens. I'm thrilled at the thought of possibly avoiding induction and a pre-term baby/NICU stay.

I can't believe I'll be 34 weeks on Friday! I'm almost positive I'm about 10 days ahead of schedule which means its more like 35.5 by week's end. I had a vaginal ultrasound 5 days after day 1 of my LMP bc I was sure I had an ovarian cyst. They checked me and said my cyst had popped earlier that day or the day before, so I'd probably just had a really irregularly early ovulation event (i.e. cycle day 4 rather than cycle day 14), and the voila! A really early positive pregnancy test. Anyway, crazy to think how close we are to having our babies here!

    What else?

    I'm excited for Thanksgiving!

    Hope y'all are all well.

I feel you sister on the whole your buying "ANOTHER" gun! Really!!!! Atleast he will randomly pick up baby clothes from the store without me even asing and just come home with it! So I guess I shouldn't complain, RIGHT?

I'm doing ok. Babies are both head down and braxton hicks are now all day at different intervals.

DH left last week. So I have been in a funk - thankfully my neighbor is rescuing me from Thanksgiving and we are going over there to eat.

Found out today my Dad will NOT be making it here for the birth or to help out. I had really been counting on him...to be here for 2 months to help out with giving Isabella the extra attention she is going to need. I expected this - because he's been having bad attacks of his Meniere's Disease...but I guess I had been holding on to a shred of hope.

Not sure what's going to happen now. Dude date is still unknown - last appt was all good but they want to deliver between 37/38 weeks. I don't want to deliver until after Christmas. If the twins are anything like like Savannah and Bella they are in there not listening to my wishes anyway...haha.

We met with my Doula before DH left - I really like her. She is also my placenta encapsulation person. Which should work out well in/after delivery. She won't let them hijack my placentas...LOL

Anyway - hoping for these babies to come after Christmas. I have another OB appt Monday. Then I have MFM on the 4th of December. After that...well...all bets are off.
