Hugs mama! I was on lovenox from 3-36 weeks and heparin 2x day from 36-38.
I got used to it after a few weeks, I never did anything special but every few weeks I'd get a horrible huge bruise that would take several weeks to fade away, I'm talking the size of a softball or larger!
It's not fun or easy but hang in there. With our losses prior, I was never on blood thinners and I believe Eloise is here 100% because of them.
Mother to five flying, called home too soon.

Yep after my first dose I am already bruising. So it will be fun to watch my belly go black and blue and yellow. lol
My mom was on it and what helped her from the brusing and subdural hemotomas was rubbing the injection area for 5 mins and applying Ice for 5mins after the shot. Try rubbing for 5 first then the Ice (Ice pack) for 5.
