Just curious if anyone is looking into Birthing movies or movies about birth?

With Tristan, Shaun and I watched "Laugh and Learn About Childbirth" the newest version (better!) and we really enjoyed it and Shaun got some really good tips on being a coach and helped me time my way through the contractions (I do all natural labor/births). Considering I was in Labor and Birthing Tristan for a total of 19hrs (over an hour pushing him out) it was super important. With Brooke we did nothing cause I was thinking my labor would be the same, but it was so different the second time. A lot more space between the contractions, but way more intense when they did hit (plus that labor was only 8 hours, about 1 minute of birthing).

Then when I got pregnant with this little boy a friend told me about a documentary by Ricki Lake called "The business of Being Born" (Netflix) I watch it and loved it...and then found some mini documentary follow-ups on Netflix, which I also enjoyed.

Anyone planning to watch some movies/documentaries or have other good ones to suggests.

I need to rewatch the business of being born and I know there are a couple more out there, since I'm planning on going natural this time. I'm not sure how much help DH will be since he has a hard time with seeing me in pain.

going Natural I would try to watch the Laugh and Learn about Childbirth with Shari Bayles. She actually walks you through all the Birthing steps and talks about techniques....I guess it could be compared to Lamaze, but I never took a Lamaze class so i'm not positive. It worked for me.

Has anyone used Netflix to watch these movies? I haven't searched for them there, but am more likely to watch it if its on Netflix

yes, Business of Being Born is on Netflix...Not sure about the other, I rented it from my local library.
