    Default Appointment today

Ok ladies, I am a bit in shock, still haven't talked to DH yet either

Appointment went well, they did an ultrasound and we have TWINS!

I soooooo was not expecting this. Sorry if my pic is huge, I am on my iPad and unable to really play with photobucket right now.

I popped in since I love to look at ultrasounds.

Wow, congrats! What a shock this must have been!

Thanks ladies, not feeling too bad, doc gave me some Zofran for the nausea and Folic Acid to add in with my prenatals. DH is excited, I am too in shock to be excited at this point. I sooooooo had not planned for 3 kids, one at 2.5 and 2 newborns!!! It is a bit overwhelming right now but I know we are blessed and that I will love these two

mama, I know what you mean. You would definitely need help there. But what a bundle of joy to have twins. God gives us only what we knows we can handle.

I did not do a u/s before this one. As much as I love to see my LO I hate going to the doctor, and I know with my advanced age I will end up going way more than I want especially towards the end so this was my first visit

I was thinking about the Moby, I have not used it before and am actually a bit intimidated by it, it looks like a pain to do.

Congratulations!!! How fun to be having twins!!! I know you will be fine. My friend has 4 BOYS... Ages 5, 3, and she just had twin boys in July. They completely restructured their life. She now is a SAHM, works in her 5yo class once a week. Takes all four kids to the movies, etc. She thought it would be overwhelming, and it is sometimes, but she said with a little practice and organization it's still a lot of work, but easy. I wish you the best of luck and know you'll do great!!! Just think, now you get an ultrasound every visit!!!

Btw, she's still breastfeeding her twins all but one feeding a day... Just saying!! (Gotta throw my pro breastfeeding out there)

Actually THANK YOU for mentioning BFing, I planned on BFing and CDing this baby which is now babies! I still plan to give it a go so ANY advice on that is welcome. One thing I still don't have figured out is I had planned on baby wearing quite a bit since I also have a toddler....how the he!! Can I do that with twins? Wow, this is going to be a journey.
