    Default Confessions...

It is really quiet in here, so I thought maybe we could start a little Confessions thread???

    I confess:
    - I have started listening to Christmas music in the car...almost exclusively!
    - I ate cookie dough tonight...and it may have counted as my actual "dinner." Eek! (I ate some peas earlier, but nothing else wanted to go/stay down.)

Anyone have anything they'd like to offer up???

    I confess...

    - I am trying to eat healthy, but everything is making me feel sick! Then there are cookies on the counter from the neighbor "YUM" and then my youngest DS wanted to make a cake with cream cheese frosting, and that was good too! Which then makes me sick again!

    - With eating all the sweets, I am now worried about my doc apt Friday. I don't want to gain weight eatting all the cookies and cakes in the house!

    - I too am getting in the Christmas spirt! I am so ready for Thanksgiving to be over so I can pull all the Christmas stuff out and decorate!

    - And I didn't have class this week for the holiday, so I did "No Homework"!!!! I felt like I needed a break, but tomorrow, it is crunch time. I have a LARGE Financial Exam next Tuesday.

Other than that, I am just trying to keep this nausea away, but it's not working!!!!!

    I confess...

On Sunday and Monday of the extended weekend (had Monday Off) I was horrible about drinking water for the selfish reason I really wanted to sleep longer than an hour or two at night and at least feel semi rested in the morning. It really didn't work

I also confess I love oyster crackers and if I could eat them all day long I would

    Have a great Wednesday ladies!

I confess to eating a chili cheese hot dog for lunch and french fries on my way home from work yesterday.
So much for my resolution to eat well this pregnancy.

I confess that I just want to tell everyone I see about my pregnancy!

I confess that I started maternity clothes shopping as soon as we heard the HB.

I also confess that I suck at eating healthy. I have pretty much been eating whatever I want. Including pizza at 10pm and lots of carbs...

    I agree Babykenny!!!

The only food that has kept me from turning is pasta or bread. I am sure that has packed a few extra on me. I am sure my doc will tell me tomorrow.

    I also have to confess....

I am DYING for a Cupcake!!! I want a special cupcake from a store where my in laws live and I am going there tomorrow. It is called the Pink Champagne Cupcake. It has a raspberry cake with champagne frosting and pretty pink sprinkles on it.

I am waiting until after my doc apt to eat it!!

Williow- pizza and pasta here too...I hear you!

    and that cupcake sounds divine!

I confess that I'm so exhausted, and not looking forward to tomorrow and Sunday....This weekend I'm proctoring an exam plus we have 2 birthday parties tomorrow and one on Sunday! Weekend is shaping up to be busier than the week!!!! Ah!!!!!

I confess that for as much as I can get frustrated with my DH....he is a great husband and daddy!

We found out tonight that my MIL is coming over from Ireland for DS's 3rd birthday. i confess that I'm not looking forward to the stress and anxiety of my DH worrying about the house being perfect for her arrival in less than 3 weeks. He's gonna be a wreck trying to make/keep everything perfect, and we don't have a humongous house...it's just big enough for us...

Momma39 - Yes... I am hoping the 2nd trimester brings less nausea and visiting the bathroom!

Babykenny - How long will your MIL be staying? What is she like?

I confess that I feel like a bad mom to DS. I've been so tired and nauseous I haven't been playing with him the same as usual. The other day we just cuddled for like 10 min which is so unusual for him but maybe he knew Mommy just needed a break!

I confess that I have started telling people at this point! I can't keep it a secret any more.

I confess that I am worried sick....I feel like something will happen between our last u/s and our next u/s, and until I have another chance to see our little June Bug I am going to be worried.

I confess that I am feeling less symptoms now and that this makes me worry about the baby...I know that it's probably just due to being 10 weeks now and having less of the early symptoms...but I am still worried.

I confess that my house is a MESS! We moved in a year ago, still haven't unpacked all the way, I can't keep the house looking "nice" (which in my mind is the way my parent's house looks - perfect, organized, clean and calming), and I am starting to panic about being able to be good parents if we can't even keep the house neat.

I am just a ball of hormones today. I've cried three times - once due to a song, once due to a radio commercial, and once just from thinking about things.

9 days!!!!! She is very generous and caring, but wears her heart on her sleeve - so you always know exactly where you stand with her. She can be obnoxious, overbearing and controlling - but that is how she shows affection. I like her very much, but living together for stretches at a time is sometimes challenging...I have to power through it and remind myself that DH deserves quality time with his mom, whom he does not get to see but once a year at best.

WishingNat I am with you. Yesterday I didn't really have any morning sickness. I have not been able to eat any sugar or anything sweet because of it and when I do I regret it so much, can't even drink 7-up without feeling horrible. Yesterday I snuck a Chocolate chip cookie and work and nothing happened so I embraced and ate 4! Then I had to feel my boobs to make sure they still hurt and they did and I was exhausted last night. Still worried but excited to see our LO on the big screen on Monday! So exciting

LOL, I did this today too! I wasn't feeling nauseous so I had to feel my boobs to make sure they still hurt. Then of course the nausea came back tonight after I tried to eat Chipotle for dinner.

I have a lot to confess.

I want to eat nothing but cake. I waited until Thanksgiving (11 weeks 4 days) to tell we are expecting. I worry about miscarriage everyday. I didnt have very much morning sickness and that worried me. I had some spotting and bleeding with 2 ER visits. (Darn first time moms). I have had 4 u/s already and number 5 is tomorrow. I have all of the baby's furniture, some clothes, some bottles and some maternity clothes already too!

    You are so funny Ginger!!!

I came home from school last night and was hungry. So I made toast with yummy jelly! DH said he wanted some too. So I left out the bread and jelly and he made it while we talked. I was about to leave the room when he told me to clean up my mess. (He just cleaned the dinner dishes while I was in class) I walked back, picked up my napkin, threw it away, washed ONLY my knife and left the room. I left EVERYTHING else on the counter. He started laughing at me and I said "The baby doesn't want to clean up your stuff too!" He started laughing and said "Ok, the Butler will do it!"

I am teasing DH on that stuff all the time too!

We waited to tell people until 11 weeks too! Actually, some people still don't know. But I guess they will just find out!
Good Luck with your U/S!! Wishing everything will smooth out for you!
