How did you tell SO? Well it was a faint pink line on FRER so I wasn't convinced I was pregnant. I had a picture of it up on my tablet screen and said "I'm at one of those sites where you say positive or negative to a pregnancy test. What do you thing about this one?" (I only wanted to tell him if I was confident and had planned on taking another test and telling him the next day) He said, "Oh that's definitely positive!" I replied, "Well, it's mine and pulled it out of my pocket. He was stunned. I tested earlier than 'I was supposed to' so he didn't think it was possible to know yet
    Due date - July 15th
First Doctor Appointment: December 5th at 8 weeks
Do you want to know the sex? Don't know. Think we might this time.

What I do - I'm a certified teacher, but we PCS'd too late from Korea to get hired so I'm busy homemaking and writing until our household goods get sorted and settled and we stop traveling to see family (it's only been 3 years, why do they want to see us. ;p)
    SO - Scott
What they do - US Army
Other kids - none, unless my furkid counts (I spoil her terribly)
    BFP Date: today! 11-13-12
How did you tell SO? I called him at work
    Due date - 07-22-13
    First Doctor Appointment: 12-4-12
Do you want to know the sex Conflicted. I'm leaning more towards yes, though.
Does DH want to know the sex I don't know, I'll have to ask him when he gets home
Gender Guess: I'm hoping for a girl
Have you told anyone yet? Yes, my "adopted" aunt who has been supporting me through our TTCing woes and of course DH
Symptom list: um, an ear infection? Seriously that's the only health issue I've had in this month other than the random bits of spotting I had once a day for 3 days ending Sunday -- Added 2 nosebleeds today, minor ones, but I've never had a nosebleed without an injury before
Any names picked out? not yet
What's your TTC Story? DH was diagnosed with lazy sperm in 2010 but was given no information about this or advice. We decided to start trying in March. Because of hubby's sperm and age (41) and my borderline age (34, will be 35 in June), our PCM jumped us into fertility help after 6 months no conception. We had our first fertility visit today and in reviewing our case file she said IVF was very likely for us, but if we made a lot of dietary changes, DH could probably get his count up by getting off statins and Nexium. But right before we left for the appt, I took a pg test on a whim and had a faint positive, so she gave me another test and called me about noon to confirm I'm pregnant! I had given up this month, to be honest, so I really think that helped!
Anything else you'd like to add? My sister just carried her first pregnancy to term in early October, so I have high hopes, but mom suffered several miscarriages before I was born. Then one after, then 3 more successful pregnancies. I know docs say that mom's miscarriage history doesn't usually imply anything for me, but I am being cautious and not telling family and friends until we hear the heartbeat. I think that's pretty reasonable, right? And my mom can't keep a secret. My hubby and I also got married in Korea, so we are having a renewal in December to celebrate with family and friends, so this is going to be so hard to keep to myself.

What I do - Stay and Home Mom, Business Owner
    SO - Ryan
What they do - Research Scientist
Other kids - Madelyn (08/05/09) and Malachi (12/23/10)

How did you tell SO? I mentioned it briefly in the PS of an unrelated e-mail. He knew that I had evap looking tests the prior two days and that I was testing again that day.
    Due date - 07/19/13?
    First Doctor Appointment: 11/27/12
Do you want to know the sex: Yes
Does DH want to know the sex: Yes
    Gender Guess: Really not sure!
Have you told anyone yet? A few friends (that will for sure pray for us), will tell my mom soon. We are waiting to tell anyone else until I am much further along.
Symptom list: Nausea, sinus congestion, backache, increased CM, constipation, sore breasts
    Any names picked out? No
What's your TTC Story? We started TTC when my DS turned one and became pregnant right away. I miscarried that baby at 12 weeks, the heart had stopped sometime after 9 weeks. We waited a cycle and for a negative Beta and TTC again. I became pregnant right away and miscarried at 5 weeks. We waited one cycle and for a negative Beta and tried again. I became pregnant but miscarried at 5 weeks. Since that was three in a row after two successful, uncomplicated pregnancies I was referred to an RE. We started seeing him and were preventing pregnancy but I became pregnant anyway (we didn't use a condom twice this month). So here I am! I was having a worsening allergic reaction starting in February (First miscarriage Feb 29) and continuing until about three weeks ago when we moved out of our condo. We are hopeful that those losses were due to my allergic reaction.
Anything else you'd like to add? I hope that we all have beautiful babies join our families in 36 weeks or so!

Hi everyone! I found you ladies while doing some research on my pregnancy. Here is a bit about me...

    Me - marvistababy

What I do - executive assistant

    SO - p

    What they do - tech

Other kids - We have a DD who is 6.5 yrs old (and has been asking for a sibling since she was 4)

    BFP Date: 10/26/12

How did you tell SO? Nothing special...I called him and said, I think I'm pregnant and I'm going to the dr to confirm...called him after the dr appt and said it was confirmed!

    Due date - 7/7/13

First Doctor Appointment: last week - 11/15/12 - saw the heart beat and OB said it was "strong". Measured 6w4d although per my LMP I should have been closer to 8w. OB said this was normal (?) and adjusted my EDD.

Do you want to know the sex - yes

Does DH want to know the sex - yes

    Gender Guess: boy

Have you told anyone yet? Yes, my mom and 3 good friends. Will wait until Christmas to tel DD, inlaws and extended family. Work will find out in January.

Symptom list: severely nauseous all day long, a full feeling, constantly going to the bathroom, everything stinks-perfume, deodorant, food, shaving cream. Water tastes awful. I had none of this with my 1st.

Any names picked out? Not yet

What's your TTC Story? We had been trying for 1.5 yrs and I was shocked when the tests came back positive. I thought for sure, I couldn't have anymore babies. I had 2 m/c prior to my daughter's birth so I am hoping this one will stick. If not, I think we're done trying and my LO will be an only child.

Anything else you'd like to add? I'm going to see a genetic counselor tomorrow since I'll be 35 when I deliver. OB mentioned CVS and amnio. A little nervous about both since there is a risk of m/c. Overall, I'm excited and scared all at the same time.

    Congrats to everyone!

Hey Girls, This is my first post on this website, but glad to have found y'all. I am a recurrent miscarrier, so even posting on here means that I am acknowledging that there may be a little one for us next year.....!

Me - Anjali, 34 years old

    What I do - Dentist

    SO - Sam

What they do - Online Pharmacist

Other kids - Om, stillborn at 7 months followed 11 months later by Shay the monkey, now 2 1/2 years old

    BFP Date: 20th november

How did you tell SO? well, since he forgot 3 days in a row to bring home HPT from work (it killed me everytime he forgot), i brought one at lunchtime and sent him a pic.

Due date - 20th July but to be confirmed as my cycle is a bit irreg.

    First Doctor Appointment: tomorrow

Do you want to know the sex: Yes, more for practical reasons than anything else
Does DH want to know the sex: hell yes

Gender Guess: I wanna girl, i wanna girl, I can't believe it's already been decided. so GIRL!

Have you told anyone yet? 2 of my BFF

Symptom list: Nausea, grumpiness, tiredness and pains

Any names picked out? I want Maya for a girl, picking the right moment to tell hubby.

What's your TTC Story? Me to hubby: After everything i've been through I think it's selfish for you to ask me for another child, especially since we never thought we'd have Shay. How easily you forget. Him: Yeah but it's not fair on Shay. Me: alright I'll try but not for long. 6 weeks later, BFP. However my history means that we are no way out of the woods yet.

Anything else you'd like to add? Thanks for listening already, good luck to all of us, thank you for sharing you journeys

Default Stuck between June and July...:)

    Me - Nicole

What I do - I am a play at home mommy

    SO: Mike

What he does: he does linguistics and "stuff" for the military

Other kids - I've got six lil ones Saralyn-13, Samantha-10, Jenna-8, Maggie-6, Arianna-4, and finally our guy Kaleb 17 mo.

BFP Date: no clue..somewhere around Oct 7

How did you tell SO? He was bathing the babes and I just popped it down in front of him.

Due date -June 30th-July 3: July based on lmp and June based on baby's size, so thought I'd peek in here too!

First Doctor Appointment: Sad visit. Told I had twin blighted ovum because we saw 2empty sacks and to come back in a week to see how things were going..D&C or natural, etc. Went back after a week and We found a little one with a heart beat but she said the other sack looks like it is shrinking. Took US pics home and were looking at them and saw the other sack and there really is something in there. Sure looks like the other little blob that HAS a heart beat but we're definately no experts so we'll have to wait 4 weeks to see if another llittle bean shows up! The midwife said she was shocked even to find just one in there and that it "never" happens that way.

Do you want to know the sex: Yes! We got rid of all our girl baby clothes because we were done...oops

Does DH want to know the sex: Yep, we're just too impatient to wait

Gender Guess: No clue, but based on our record-girl

Have you told anyone yet? Our kiddos and my in laws because...

Symptom list: ...I get so darned sick it becomes VERY obvious that I am pg or dying of flu. I became nauseated before I even missed my period so I knew something was definitely different this time. (usually start at 6-7 wks). I am on Zofran but still sick all day and puke 1-2x/day

Any names picked out? G- Ainsley Gabrielle B- Joshua ?

What's your TTC Story? We didn't want to do anything permanent even though we were definately done so I got fitted for a diaphram and the Dr. fitted it way too small so here we are

Anything else you'd like to add? Even though this is our 7th (or maybe 8th too) it feels new every time. I ask the same questions over and over and feel overwhelmed by all the new info each time and the worries and all the little joys

Nicole, I am stuck between June and July too -- I've been posting on both boards. My EDD is July 2 but DS was born a week and a half early so I wouldn't be surprised to end up a June momma. I hope all is well at your next appt and that you see at least 1 and hopefully 2 little HB's!

What's your TTC Story? Dh and i were TTC DD for over 2 yrs with no success. so we finally gave up and said " the stress of TTC is too much and we need time to just have fun". shortly after we got a surprise

i was pretty set on not having anymore kids. DD is just alot to handle and wasnt sure if we could handle another baby. ( financially) than we got an other surprise last 4th of July. sadly i started bleeding and we found out on my birthday we lost the baby. we were so devastated. i felt like it was my fault that i didnt want more kids so i thought it was my fault we lost it. i was so scared to try again but DH was so supportive and reasured me we can have another baby. and i'll get to meet the one i lost in heaven. i was hooked i wanted more. We decided not to try but to just have fun. 3 months later we got an amazing gift and God blessed us with another chance for a baby and here we are!

Anything else you'd like to add? so excited to be here.... sorry it took me so long to get to this but i didnt want to do it on my phone and now im at a computer!

Sorry I have joined late! Congrats July 2013 mommies!

    Me - Alicia (32), Nurse
SO - Blake (30), GM @ Car Dealership

    This is our first pregnancy!!!

    BFP: 11/03/2012

Showed SO the test reading "Pregnant"

    Due date: 07/12/2013

First Doctor Appointment: 12/10/2012 (also 1st ultrasound!)

YES, we both want to know the sex!!!
    Find put at 02/07/2013appointment!

    Gender Guess: Girl

We told our parents/siblings two days after BFP, and told everyone else at 8wks

    Symptom list:
Breast tenderness, bloating, constipation, tired easily

We haven't picked any names, just making lists of the ones we both like

We were TTC for 2 years, after year one, OB did our fertility work-ups, which were "normal"! So frustrating to have "unexplained infertility". So, we tried for 6 more months without success. I did 4 rounds of clomid. Terrible side-effects!!! Finally decided to meet with RE to discuss further testing & options. Felt relieved and RE's plan was to begin with next cycle. But two weeks later there was our BFP!!!!!!!
And here we are,14w3d today and feeling great! Just saw our miracle again on ultrasound #2 last week!
I am showing, will get bump pics up soon!

Congrats and welcome Alicia! STC is so tough, especially if you don't know what the problem is. We STC'ed for 2 years with my DS and got pg on IUI #7. Luckily this time we knew where to start and it only took 3 tries before we were pg! I hope your pregnancy is much smoother than your journey was to get here.
