My niece had her baby @ 24w/3d gestation on August 12th. Her daughter weighed 1lb 8ozs at birth. She has been doing pretty good so far. She has 2 holes in her heart and she had an episode with NEC recently which resulted in surgery. She now weighs 3lbs 10ozs and is almost 2 months old (33 weeks old gestation) and is still fighting hard!

My question is: How many of you have had experiences with micro-preemies and what was the outcome (if you don't mind sharing)?
