Any suggestions on a good brand? I want to buy, not rent. I found this website :

And they seem super cheap !!! But are these good brands ?
Also you think I could hear it at 9w3d with my first?

I used this doppler and loved it! It's the same one OB uses!

Sometimes you can hear the heartbeat before 10 weeks and sometimes you can't hear it until after 12 weeks. So don't be worried if you don't pick up the tones right away.

Thanks . I guess by the time I got it I'd be nearing 11 weeks. My mom seems to think it would be a waste of money. I've never had any history of anything... But you can't put a price on piece of mind!

I have an Elite brand Model 200R http://www.medicalresources.com/shop...catalogid=1316 I really like it. I found it on ebay way way cheaper than that website! I've never had any problems with my pregnancies either but it sure gives me piece of mind on those days that I worry.

Thanks ladies! Regardless of what my mom says I am going to buy one! I don't think she will be saying it was a waste when she gets to hear the heartbeat ! Lol
