    Default Finally!

Good news at an appt! The mono/mono diagnosis was wrong!!! They are mono/di, making everything much safer for the three of us. Therefore meaning I can carry them longer and with less risk! And the twin to twin fluid transfusion is less likely to be a problem because of this. Hopefully at the 20 week level 2 u/s we can confirm this! The only thing that we haven't learned is if the baby with anecephaly has a membrane that goes where the skull should be, or if it is open. If it is open there is a higher risk I may need to have amniotic fluid drained if the fluid builds up, but it's not for sure either way. I'm still very sad about the anecephaly diagnosis, but I was glad to have news that things are less risky.

In other news, we have everything we need except for diapers, wipes and clothes. I finalized all my shopping for major things last night. I was worried about bed rest. I may need to go on bed rest at 24ish weeks, but more than likely it will be at home. I wanna get everything situated by then so I'm not counting on other people to do it.

And in non-baby news! The bathroom renovations started today. I am almost done getting things around here taken care of. It'll be nice to relax!

Yeah for some good news at your appointment - you are way overdue for that . I hope the 20 week u/s confirms today's diagnosis.

Glad you have most of the shopping stuff done and that things are coming along in your house.

After my appointment last week I thought I was looking at in hospital bed rest next month and delivery in mid jan so I felt rushed to get things ready, or I wouldn't have a thing yet. Now I feel like I jumped the gun. But I am glad to feel more prepared.

The 20 week u/s is actully gonna be at 21 because I refuse to drive over 2 hours rough trip every week unless its medically necessary. I have bi weekly appts and ultrasounds until trimester 3, my appts are on odd weeks, so instead of doing u/s on even weeks and driving twice as much I'm doing them the same day. It's nov 5th. I have to be there at 8 am. I'm kinda nervous! I have a fluid level on the 22nd.
