    Default Prayers are being answered!!!

I went in for another u/s today. Baby girl is measuring on target and there is less fluid in her chest!!!

I could not stop crying for a while after I left the office. The MFM is pleased and I could tell that this was not the direction he was expecting this to go. He did not recommend further testing since everything else has come back normal and her condition seems to be improving.

I go back on Oct. 23 for a limited u/s, basically just to check the fluid in her chest.

Here is a picture of my little miracle from today. She is pretty much bent in half with her feet by her head.

Thanks ladies! I saw my OB yesterday and he told me again that out of about 80K pregnancies, he's never seen bilateral pleural effusions as an isolated finding on a fetus (translation: fluid in both sides of the chest without there being a heart issue or chromosomal issue) and said that if the MFM I'm seeing has seen it, it's been less than a handful of times. He also told me that he didn't want to give me false hope, but that he was feeling positive for a good outcome. We can't determine where I'll deliver yet, he said that'll be a joint decision he'll make with the MFM when it gets closer to time. If baby girl's condition continues to improve, I'll get to deliver at MoBap since that hospital would be able to handle her. Otherwise, I'll be forced to deliver at Barnes (attached to the Children's hospital). My OB has privileges there, but he said it can be difficult to care for me since that's not his main place.

He spent a good 30 min with me yesterday just talking about everything. I really do this guy!

And I appreciate all of you praying for us/sending good thoughts.
