I guess I start since I have some time on my hands.

    NY Mom:

What I do: (or what did I do is more like it).. I use to be an Executive Assistant. My very last full-time position was working for the Deputy Chief of Mission at the United States Embassy in London. (I still work but at home doing adminstrative work on the side for executives I worked with in the past in another life before children ) But for the most part I am now a professional SAHM and a "Corporate Wife" and loving every minute of it!! LOL

My other children: We have a gorgeous, precocious, little lady who is 7 and a my big, little man who is 3. Our daughter makes our hearts melt, our son makes our heart laugh and god willing our third will make our hearts sing!

BFP Date: We received our BFP on Monday, October 24 in the AM

How did you tell SO? I did not have to tell my husband because he already knew by how I was acting.

Due date: I believe it is June 1. But I do not want to give birth on Memorial Day weekend and will probably do it a couple of days after (if I dont go into labor first).

First Doctor Appointment: Was September 27. First real sonogram is this Monday, October 8

Do you want to know the sex: Never find out. But darling husband does each time and it's top secret!

Does DH want to know the sex Yes he always does!

Gender Guess: Have no clue; just as long as baby is healthy!

Have you told anyone yet? My best friend who is like a sister to me.

Symptom list: Absolutely nothing. I do pregnancy very well.

Any names picked out? This has been on ongoing agrument with my DH specifically with the boy name. We bickered right up until my son was born. I wanted Chayse he wanted Shayne. My husband won on the last. So if it's a boy I AM naming him Chayse!!

What's your TTC Story? We have been trying for a year. I finally gave up on my Clomid last in August since I was on it for several months. My RE did nothing for me except tell me how little my chances were with an "unassisted pregnancy". I had all the necessary blood work done with nothing indicating why I could not get preggos other than my age. My AMH level was borderline low at .44 but my FSH level was good at 7.68. The last prescription I received was Letrozole (which I nevver took and was not too keen on beginning on them either) but after my RE prescribed an HSG (having the dye put through your tubes)I became pregnant without clomid and any assistance!!

Anything else you'd like to add? Am so very nervous for this Monday and am praying we hear a HB then I will be a bit more at ease.

I hope everyone has a blessed pregnancy journey!! God Bless.

    Me - Sarah
    What I do - I'm a college math professor
Other kids - 1 son who is currently 17 months.
    BFP Date: September 29th
How did you tell SO? I POAS during one of our nightly "chase the baby" up and down the hall between the hall bathroom and the masterbedroom. DH was in the bedroom, and of course the stick was in the hall bathroom. As soon as it said, "PREGNANT" (digital) I gave it to my son who ran (stark naked) into the bedroom with it and gave it to DH.
Due date - By my LMP it is June 11th, but I think June 10th is more likely. Either way, I went early with my first, so I *could* end up in late May.
First Doctor Appointment: Ugh. November 1st. I did have two betas drawn though.
Do you want to know the sex: Yes!!
Does DH want to know the sex: Yes!!
    Gender Guess: Girl
Have you told anyone yet? No. My dad is coming to town this weekend, so I MAY tell him then. I'm not sure. I'm telling one of my gfs on Monday. Its my fall break, and two years ago I went to her house during my fall break and told her I was pregnant with my son. Last year she came to my house on her fall break and told me she was pregnant with her daughter. I'm not going to be able to visit her this year, but I figure it would be cool to keep the birth announcement "tradition" alive.
Symptom list: Slightly nauseated. Cramping and bloating. Nothing serious yet.
Any names picked out? Audrey Helen for a girl (Audrey was his maternal grandmother's name and Helen is my maternal grandmother's name), no idea for a boy.
What's your TTC Story? We started trying for our family in Fall 2008. I got pregnant pretty quickly, but it turned out to be a blighted ovum. It took a serious toll on me emotionally, and coupled with a career change and cross country move, we decided to wait to try again. Fall 2009 we started trying again. Again, I got pregnant pretty quickly. This one turned out to be an ectopic pregnancy and I ended up having emergency surgery and losing a tube. We waited for a few months and tried again. The 4th pregnancy was just chemical. I got a positive pregnancy test, confirmed by a blood draw, and then started my period right on time. BUT, in the fall of 2010, I got pregnant AGAIN! This time everything went very well, and I had my son in May of 2011. This time around we started TTC at the beginning of August, and I got my BFP September 29th. Hoping for significantly less drama this time around! Stick baby stick!
Anything else you'd like to add? Nervous, but excited!!!!

What I do – SAHM, Paralegal studying Accounting, School Project Coordinator, Teach Horseback Riding Lessons

    Other kids – DS – 8 and DS - 2

BFP Date: Last week? I don’t remember. All I remember is I tested on a Monday and it was light, then again on Thursday and it was darker.

How did you tell SO? He already knew.

    Due date – June 9th

First Doctor Appointment: Last Friday my doctor confirmed

Do you want to know the sex? Yes and No. I would love to wait, but I don’t know if I could.

Does DH want to know the sex? Yes

Gender Guess: I have no clue?

Have you told anyone yet? A close friend, my parents and my In Laws. We are going to wait until I see a Heart Beat because of last time….

Symptom list: Dull Headaches, TMI Tummy Problems, Nausea that comes and goes, and painful chest.

Any names picked out? Yes, a few for a boy and maybe a girl, but I have no idea.

What's your TTC Story? Last year when DH and I found out that we were expecting again, I wasn’t ready for another one yet. I knew I wanted another one, but I wasn’t ready. The more into the pregnancy I got, the more excited I got. I felt I was ready, and then we lost it. I needed to get to a spot where I would be ready. When I was 100% ready it only took us 1 month to TTC, and here we are. I am so excited to add another one to our family! I don’t want this one to end like the last one!

Anything else you'd like to add? I am really excited to meet everyone and hear their story.

Smile So good to meet you ladies!!!!

    Me - Kirsten - 34

What I do - Teach religion at all-girls Catholic High School (more specifically - Hebrew Scripture/Old Testament)

Other kids - DS Eamon (Irish for Edward) turning 3 in December

    BFP Date - 10/1/2012

How did you tell SO? - Woke him up first thing in the morning to come downstairs and see hpts (took 2 -one regular, one digital)

    Due date - June 9th!

First Doctor Appointment - Wednesday 10/17 for an u/s and visit (because I had a mc in January)

Do you want to know the sex - Yes and no. We didn't find out the first time and it was wonderful, but now I think we'd like to know for planning. I think we will find out and keep it a secret from everyone else though, if we do find out!

Does DH want to know the sex - Yes!

Gender Guess - I'm kinda secretly hoping it is another boy, but any healthy baby is a gift from God!

Have you told anyone yet? - My mom knows. My grandmother and next-younger sister are suspicious, but I told them it is "inconclusive" yesterday!

Symptom list - frequent urination, uterine cramping, very sore breasts, tired/winded easily

Any names picked out? - Amelia Christine for a girl (my maternal great-grandmother and grandmother's names)...and Eoin David for a boy (Eoin is 'Owen' - Irish for John, my grandfather's name, and David is my dad's name); So they all have family significance!

What's your TTC Story? - started ttc last November. Got pg in December, miscarried in January. Tried all spring and was stressed/overeating. In May decided to take off the summer and start again in September. Had a "Zen Summer" to try to get myself together the best I could to be in the best place for a bfp: Lost about 20 lbs on Weight Watchers and exercised regularly; and started seeing a therapist for talk therapy. Used CBEFM and OPK to officially try again in September and it worked!!!

Anything else you'd like to add? - DH is from Ireland, the only one of his family here in the US, so this adds a lot of color to our little world! (hee hee) I was also in the Dec 09 DD room, and had such a great experience. I'm really looking forward to getting to know all of you!!!!!

What's your TTC Story? We struggled to conceive our first, had at least one chemical pregnancy, I lost a lot of weight and went on Metformin, for my second we tried for 5-6 months and then I got pregnant the first month I went back on the Metformin.... This time we had decided to just really not prevent anymore since I'd never gotten pregnant without medication... but surprise I did in June, with an unfortunate miscarriage in August. I went back on my Metformin in September, and here I am again -- very very nervous!!
Anything else you'd like to add? I look forward to spending a long time here with you ladies and wish everyone the absolute best!!!

What's your TTC Story? Well we struggled to have #1 and I was hoping #2 would be easier but not so much. After 6 rounds of Clomid (which 2 were IUI) and a round of injects +IUI here we are. All in all this was our 16th month trying. I had 2 early losses prior to DD and one prior to this pregnancy in June. I seem to only be able to stay pregnant with progesterone.
Anything else you'd like to add? We are very excited and will likely deliver in may because I will have a repeat scheduled csection at 39 weeks....so I will be stalking both rooms.

Then he said, so does that mean you're pregnant, I said yes. Really? yes really. Then a couple hours later I said so you don't seem very excited. He said you're really pregnant?! Yes, I am. I'm hoping it goes over better with the rest of the family at Thanksgiving.

    First Doctor Appointment: Nov 19th
Do you want to know the sex: Nope, I want to be surprised.

What's your TTC Story? We've been TTC#2 since January, we had a BFP on the first cycle and then lost it 3 days later. Had a really long cycle that wouldn't end so I went to the acupuncturist who helped us conceive our first. Got BFP on first new cycle.
Anything else you'd like to add?
Looking forward to getting to know everyone and share this fun journey.

Nice to meet you Jocelyn! I'm glad this round worked for you, and I understand what it is to have early losses. I hope everything continues smoothly!!!

Welcome Anna! Were you on APA when you were pg with DS? I was a December 2009 mama. Our sons are close in age - and so are we!!!

How did you tell SO? Made a shirt that said Big Brother and put it on our son. He thought I was hinting that we needed to ramp up the TTC. Then he said, so does that mean you're pregnant, I said yes. Really? yes really. Then a couple hours later I said so you don't seem very excited. He said you're really pregnant?! Yes, I am. I'm hoping it goes over better with the rest of the family at Thanksgiving.
    Due date - June 25th
    First Doctor Appointment: Nov 19th
Do you want to know the sex: Nope, I want to be surprised.
Does DH want to know the sex: Nope, he wants to be surprised too.
Gender Guess: I'm thinking girl, maybe.

OK. I finally am getting around to doing this! Here it goes:

    Me - Sarah
    What I do - Architect
Other kids - Zi, 3 years old
    BFP Date: September 26
How did you tell SO? I left the test on his alarm clock.
    Due date - June 5th
    First Doctor Appointment: November 16th
Do you want to know the sex: No
Does DH want to know the sex: Yes, so we will find out this time.
Gender Guess: Boy, way more hormones going on!
Have you told anyone yet? Just a close friend at work, we are waiting until 10 weeks for family / close friends, 12 weeks for Facebook
Symptom list: Early on it was hunger, crampies, sore breasts, gas
Any names picked out? Just one for a boy, which we don't share
What's your TTC Story? We have been planning to try for a second child spaced approx. 4 years apart since before DD1 was born. I wanted a June baby and it actually happened!
Anything else you'd like to add? We are so excited to share the news with our Daughter. She has been asking for a sibling for a year and a half.

Default A little bit late but...

    Me - Nicole

What I do - I am a play at home mommy

Other kids - I've got six lil ones Saralyn-13, Samantha-10, Jenna-8, Maggie-6, Arianna-4, and finally our guy Kaleb 17 mo.

BFP Date: no clue..somewhere around Oct 7

How did you tell SO? He was bathing the babes and I just popped it down in front of him.

    Due date -June 30th

First Doctor Appointment: Sad visit. Told I had twin blighted ovum and to come back in a week to see how things were going..D&C or natural, etc. Went back after a week and We found a little one with a heart beat but she said the other sack looks like it is shrinking. Took US pics home and were looking at them and saw the other sack and there really is something in there. Sure looks like the other little blob that has a heart beat but we're definately no experts so we'll have to wait 4 weeks to see if someone else shows up!

Do you want to know the sex: Yes! We got rid of all our girl baby clothes because we were done

Does DH want to know the sex: Yep, we're just too impatient to wait

Gender Guess: No clue but based on our record-girl

Have you told anyone yet? Our kiddos and my in laws because...

Symptom list: ...I get so darned sick it becomes VERY obvious that I am pg or dying of flu. I became nauseated before I even missed my period so I knew something was definately different (usually start at 6-7 wks). I am on Zofran but still sick all day and puke 1-2x/day

Any names picked out? G- Ainsley Gabrielle B- Joshua ?

What's your TTC Story? We didn't want to do anything permanent even though we were definately done so I got fitted for a diaphram and the Dr. fitted it way too small so here we are
Anything else you'd like to add? Even though this is our 7th (or maybe 8th too) it feels new every time. I ask the same questions over and over and am just as nervous, etc as with our first.
