Back from my appt!

So my throid is getting worse according to my blood test from friday! Down to 0.12 ... But my glucose is fine (fasting compared to random) ... So she has put in an urgenr referral to my OB and my endocrinologist.... So hopefully will get in with them asap! Wish she would have referred me to my OB last month when i asked instead of making me wait!

She did say that if i cant get into my OB within the next week to call her ans she will give me a requisition for an ultrasound!

Im a bit freaked out because everything ive read on hyperthyroidism in pregnancy dramatically increases miscarriage risks... And im still not on any medication!

I've had hypothyroidism since I was 12, and I just go for bloodwork every 6 weeks to monitor it. I take a pretty high dosage, because pregnancy really affects my thyroid hormones. But DS is perfectly healthy and I had a fairly worry-free pregnancy with him. Don't worry, you'll be ok as long as you stay on top of it. It's important to get your levels where they need to be though...

I would think that since you are having problems they would get you in right away... Thinking about you and hope that you get it all resolved quickly!

I'm getting in with my endo. on Monday morning -- I know they have to put me on some medication and the sooner the better in my opinion!! (although I hate taking pills and am already on 6 different pills a day )

I'd be really REALLY happy to hear from my OB tmw and get in there too!!!
