I had watched it when it first came out years ago.. I think it was in 2008. I just watched it again and saw that they made other episodes "More Business of Being Born" They are all on Netflix streaming.

It was pretty neat watching it while I am actually pregnant. It got me excited about delivery and my birth plan. It also made me a bit anxious because I still haven't gotten to actually talk to my new OB about how she feels about unassisted/non invasive delivery. If she isn't on the same page as me I don't know what I will do since I am very limited in my choices there is only 1 midwife and I really don't care for her. I'm also nervous because I've never delivered in this hospital and I haven't even done a tour yet lol appearantly 10W is a bit early to schedule a tour?? I want/NEEEEEED a tub it's really my only request in the delivery room.

I don't want an IV, I don't want a fetal monitor on all the time, I must be able to walk and birth how I want (not flat on my back) and I want to be in the tub during most of the early/middle contractions because it makes it so much easier to do naturally. This is how my second son was born and it was amazing!

My concerns are that I had very fast deliveries and I know that the nurse already brought up the induction idea at our first consaltation. I said NO but I don't know if that will keep coming up. I'm also nervous about the delivery time as well considering I do live over 40mins from the hospital.

BLEH so much to think about! Am I the only one overthinking things this early?
