I know every pregnancy is different and we are all different sizes and shapes, but on your 2nd pregnancy: When did you start wearing maternity clothes???
As soon as I got my BFP
2 months along / 8 weeks
3 months along / 12 weeks
4 months along / 16 weeks
5 months along / 20 weeks
6 months along / 24 weeks
7 months along / 28 weeks
8 months and up / 32+ weeks
I never stopped wearing them from my first pregnancy.
Never. I wore regular clothes the whole time.
I never stoppedSeriously, though. I was pregnant three months PP and was wearing my small maternity jeans at that point still. But in terms of when did I actually start showing? By 10 weeks compared to 16ish with my first.
I didn't really wear maternity clothes until pretty close to the end, but I did get a maternity dress and jeans around 5 1/2 to 6 months. I pretty much stuck to elastic-waist or drawstring skirts and Old Navy t-shirts. With my 3rd (current) I bought maternity jeans around 22 weeks, but I think I'm carrying lower this time too. I was in maternity clothes the earliest with my first, believe it or not.
I'd say maternity pants were a must by 12 weeks. Up until then I just used a belly band or did the rubber band trick. And I'm still wearing a lot of non-maternity shirts - but only my longer shirts.
I started by 6-8 weeks, mostly because my regular pants not fitting was one of my clues that spurred me to test. I bloated pretty quickly and my pants were all pretty uncomfortable in my standard wardrobe. Shirts I have worn mostly regular shirts the whole time, mostly because I couldn't afford to spend so much on maternity shirts being as big as I am. I did buy a few new shirts in a size larger than normal to carry me through end of summer/fall. But - since I was able to quit working in April, my daily uniform has mostly been nursing tanks and yoga pants, so yeah...LOL...that's all that's been super comfy for me.
