Unhappy My turn for the migrane

Saturday at work I could feel my sinuses popping or squirming or doing something weird. By that evening I had a low grade pressure headache. It wasn't anything I couldn't handle. The Sunday morning I woke up feeling like I had a major hangover. My head was splitting. I finall gave in and took tylenol at around 1, but it did nothing. I tried steam, compress, & caffine too. Nothing worked. It was still killing me yesterday so I called the Doc. The had me come in to check my BP & PP. It was all fine. Doc said I could up my tylenol to 3 (reg strength) every 6 hours, take 1 claritin, & get a dehumidifier. I did and by 2 o'clock I was feeling worlds better as long as I didn't move or do anything that would add pressure to my head. I woke up this morning debating on going to work. My head was feeling pretty good- until I blew my nose. BAM- headache is back.
I hate it! The blessing in all this is that I have been able to do nothing but sit on the couch and watch TV and feel my little son bouncing around! My husband has off from work this week to use up vacation time that would go to waste, so he has been a great nurse. I have started my drug regime again today. I really hate taking this stuff while pregnant. To this point I had avaoided everything but antibiotics. But I guess I will have faith in my doc that it is ok to take, and enjoy the acrobat's assurance that he is ok too.

Good news is that our next ultrasound is tomorrow morning! I am totally going to ask the tech to turn on the 3D this time. She said at our last appointment (19.5 weeks) that she doesn't normally turn it on until 28 weeks because there is not enough fat. Hopefully I can convince her this time I mean, this could be our last ultrasound right?

    Thanks for letting me moan.

This happened to me...is like my allergies are much worst during pregnancy.
What helped for me was starting a zyrtec regimen ....so i take it every day (at night) and when i am hurting i do tylenol and start using the neti pot which helps wonders too....
My doctor assured me that zyrtec is super safe during pregnancy so i feel ok taking it every day....not sure why he did not suggested claritin but i dont like claritin anyways as it never really worked for me....as far as i know zyrtec is the best of all the allergies medicine but not sure why exactly....

    hope you feel better
