    Default Eight Ladies and counting....

I am so glad to have found an "active" site. I have visted several others sites but have found many of the posts there were dated a year back or more. So it's nice to have such a site. I see we also have eight ladies who are preggos as well!!

So let's start this Due in June thread. I am ready and am feeling a bit more at ease and a bit more excited. I will be even more excited when I hear a HB. No one knows yet just me and my husband (and my best friend whom I consider my sister and who is also godmother to both of my children)... I am busting to tell my parents. The only grandchildren they have are from me. They're getting up in age so I am wishing Oct. 8 were here already because I really want to tell my folks.

I also cannot wait to tell our children. My three year old son kind of knows but is still totally clueless... He has a habit of jumping on my belly and loves playing rough. So my husband went along and said mommy has a baby in her belly and he needs to be careful.. Baby in your belly, that's funny mama.... And continued on playing...

I hope this forum brings a lot of support, laughter and a fun experience while we travel down the road of our pregnancy journey..

    Blessings to all.

Yes, that is when we will be getting the first sonogram done. I had an internal one but it was too early for a HB. We should have a HB on the 8th!! I am very cautious because of my age, so I need to keep that in mind. Although DH is full on confident. But I think we are going to wait a couple of more weeks to tell my folks.

I am here now! I feel pretty good about transitioning from ttc. First Ob appt tomorrow. It's a general exam with nurse then schedule other things. And also hoping for another beta to see where my number is now. It'll be 5 days since #1.

I don't know to be quite honest. I have been upset all day. We did not hear a HB saw the sac. The sonographer said I was only measuring at 5 wks 2 days but saying that "everything looked fine". But according to my LMP I should be 6w2d. The doctor told me that he is a bit worried and would have like to see a HB. He drew some blood to check my levels. I am on progestrone and told him about the brown discharge I have occasionally and said it could be old "implantation blood" but also said being I am on progesterone we may be "delaying the inevitable". I have not had any red blood to indicate a MC or cramps. I have to sit tight until the results come back. I am very nervous, scared and feeling like I did when we lost our first baby. BUT....from what I read 6w2d can be too early to detect a HB and I am trying to keep positive. My husband God Bless this man cancelled his business trip to Amsterdam which is a quarterly meeting with all the CIO's. I did not even have to say a word, he just did it.) I read countless stories about woman not hearing a HB until 7 weeks. I remember our second we did not hear a HB at 6 weeks not until 7. Our son we did not have our first sono until 7 weeks. So why he wanted me to come in so early is beyond me especially if he knows 6 weeks can be a bit early. The only reasoning for him wanting me to come in is probably because I am considered a high-risk pregnancy..and he wants to keep a close eye on me????? I have to just pray that my HCG levels are good and that its just too early.. So a lot of praying is happening. We had to tell my parents (when we went to pick up our children) because I had been crying and was visably upset. My dad started crying which made it worse for me. My husband is my rock and as always is ALWAYS POSITIVE!! He said all he heard was that it was too early and that implantation may have occurred later which can happen from what I was told by the sonographer. What I heard was "would have liked to hear a HB" and that "I am a bit worried" from my doctor... So he saw it as the glass half full, I saw it as half empty. It's a defense mechanism of mine I have used throughout my life: I always think realistically to prepare myself emotionally for the outcome. So today was a complete let down for me emotionally. I have been on edge all week, waiting for this day hoping to hear a HB and not to hear one just tore open the old wounds from our first. But like my husband says "our family does not give up until all options have been exhausted".

Blessings to all of the ladies who are on this wonderful and magical pregnancy journey. I hope you are all feeling well.

Your husband sounds wonderful! You truly hit the husband lottery! It is gestures like canceling such a big business trip that speak more than words can say. My DH tends to assume I will be tough (I put on a good facade most of the time, not lately though) and I have to be explicit with my needs. I'm glad he's such a champion for you, and he was there with you to hear what you may not have focused on.

i too have read/heard it is early for a HB. My OB said something to me about not wanting me in for an u/s until hcg was at or over 25,000. So obviously this is different in every single person bc our hcg's are all different. I also think it is a viable idea that your little bean may have taken longer to implant. So don't give up hope!!!

Maybe once you get your bloodwork back you will feel more at ease???

Thank you BK. He is my rock and balances me out. I thank God for such a wonderful husband and father.

Nope, will NOT give up hope. Next step to take see what the the blood work brings us. Once I receive word today then I will schedule another scan. But I am NOT doing it way until the middle of next week when I am 7w4days!!

Sending lots of positive thoughts and prayers.

Thank you Willow. Prayers are always welcomed. I prayed a lot last night. Each time the phone rang last night my jumped. Last time my doctor called me at 8:30 pm to let me know what my progesterone was. So I was expecting a call last night. But no news is good news!!

Good Evening. i'm hoping to have a June due date and this is my first. Nervous is an understatment. I have not had my first dr. appt, not until the 22nd. i'm only 4w2d along. I havent started my period and i did take two test, but no other signs of being pregnant are there. So I'm just nervous. i feel like I need to take a test every day to make sure it is still postitive. This will be the longest 1 and 1/2 weeks of my life at this point. We have only told 3 people, bosses and a trainer. so if something majorly changes they will know. We are waiting until the offical, yup something is there until we tell everyone. Which is killing me not telling my besties, but if something would happen i dont think i could stand telling it over and over again.

I hope all things turn out well for you NYMom, will be thinking of you.

I will join in here too! My EDD is June 19th, and I am so excited! I had my first appointment yesterday, and they did labs to get my beta level. I still haven't gotten the call back with the level, so I am hoping they call me today. I have my hext appointment in about three weeks, on November 6th...it seems like too long to wait, though! I am glad to have other women to wait with through these 9 months.

    Me (Rebecca) - 25, DH - 31 ~~ TTC #1 since October 2011 ~~ Chemical - March 2012 ~~ BFP 10/8/12 ~~ 11/6/12: HB 167!!!!

Hi Alyson! I know what you mean. I get dull nausea and moments of feeling uterine cramps, but in general I don't feel pregnant yet. It will all change quickly...so I'm enjoying my non-maternity clothes while they last. Don't forget to introduce yourself in the "introductions" thread for our due date group....
