I got an icee yesterday and it literally gave me the worst aftertaste in my mouth I'm not sure if I can handle trying another one at this point. Thank goodness it's starting to cool down here. We are finally in the mid-high 80's/low 90's. Never in a million years would I think that is "cooler" weather.

Anyone getting a strange taste in there mouth? Can't quite describe it, but I keep getting it off and on.

I was getting an awful strange taste in my mouth in the beginning, almost metallic...something, I don't know how to describe it, but its been a couple weeks, Thank God, since I've had it. I hope it doesn't last too long for you.

I got a nap! Yay, I finally got a nap!! My DD doesn't nap any more, so on my days off I can't just nap when she does... and with my work schedule (I work every other weekend, but have Wed. & Thurs. off), I can only nap if DH is home and willing/able to keep her occupied and away from me long enough. So needless to say, I don't nap much. It felt sooo good.

Thank you all so much for the sympathy! It is definitely all worth it if it means that baby is doing OK.

Ok so I need to rant really quick .... WHY would someone put an open container of ANY liquid in the trash?! Someone my boyfriend has no common sense . It drives me insane. I go to empty the trash in the room so I can finish cleaning and there is soda covering the entire bottom of the trash can . UGH.... So annoying. Anyway, that is all.

    How is everyone feeling?!

Christina: At least he made it in the trash! Lol!!!! My DH drives me crazy with his Pepsi cans... In the shower... On the counter... Etc! He will walk over and put his Pepsi can on the counter right.next.to.the.trash.can. SIGH!! Come on, the trash can in one foot away. Ok rant over!

I had a horrible day yesterday. I started my day off with two yummy donuts!! They were delicious, but made me feel sick the rest of the day. I snacked on wheat thins with cream cheese because it was the only thing making me feel better... BUT it ended up making my nausea worse with a helping of heartburn. I've never had heartburn being pregnant before and if this thing continues I need to get me some Tums or something ASAP. My grandma said stay away from oily foods and dairy. I seem to do well in the mornings, but when 1pm hits the nausea kicks in and I'm out for the day.

I had awful heartburn when I was pregnant with DD, and it lasted for a looong time. Morning sickness usually tapers off by week 12 or so, but the heartburn kept going until I actually delivered. Tums Dual Action helped - it was much better than regular Tums.

LOL, maybe. For me, the nausea seems worse this time around. I haven't had a lot of heartburn, but I'm not even 7 weeks yet, so we'll see on that one.

Ugh, I woke up sooooo early this morning. 4:45am...and couldn't go back to sleep. Had to run to the toilet (to puke) 3 times, actually just threw up twice though....Sooo miserable. I even took a zofran because we had Church this morning, and it barely helped, and now I'm feeling the effects of the zofran with constipation issues. Ugh...I can't win!!!! And now, its not even 8pm and I feel like I could lay down and fall asleep...but knowing that if I do (which will probably happen), I'll end up waking up again at like 330 or 4....anyone else have issues of not sleeping well?

Ugh, just about everyone's ticker is ahead of mine.

Anyway, I don't know if I'd mentioned it on here, but I had a colposcopy scheduled today, because the pap smear I had came back slightly abnormal. I'm glad to report that it was painless, there was nothing abnormal enough to take a biopsy from (not that they would do that while I'm pregnant anyway, but comforting to know). The doctor just said I should have another pap smear after I've delivered. Normally she said they would recommend it in 6 months, but since I'm not due until May, she said we'd just wait until then, because they won't do anything even if it got worse, until after I'd delivered.

Wow, Kate, I'm sure that was scary to hear that something was abnormal. Glad they didn't really find anything today though. I've heard of a lot of ladies having abnormal paps due to pregnancy, so hopefully your postpartum one will be all cleared up.

Kate... Your ticker Is ahead of mine....lol

Ugh.... My ultrasound is Monday and I just can't wait....it seems like it is taking forever! I just wanna know everything is ok. I am tired and am a super smeller everyday but other stuff seems to come and go which makes me nervous. I have no reason to believe everything isn't ok, no spotting or anything, but those past three losses make it so hard to let your guard down. On a good note though I am past the point I lost all three of my losses so that helps a bit. Monday just please come!!

I had heartburn at the end of my last pregnancy and i drank a gallon of whole milk in like 5 days and it helped...always drink one right before bed and it helps get thru te night if you are getting it in the night

I am telling my manager today that I'm pregnant. I worked all alone today because I have an unreliable coworker, so she should be pretty impressed that I did all the work meant for two people. I think the timing is perfect. It's hard to catch her in a good mood - but I hope she isn't mad because I AM the most reliable technician and she will have to give me up for a few months in May. Lol

& I am SO gassy today! I took a stool softener last night that's finally starting to do it's job (lol sorry, TMI)... I am waiting until I get home though so my belly kind of hurts.

    TMI alert...

So I've been dealing with spotting pretty much continuously since Thursday, sometimes brown and sometimes red. So I just had to share somewhere how excited I was this morning when I got up and went to the bathroom, and there was not even a trace of spotting! Not even after doing a #2.

I know it may be TMI, but I didn't think anyone who's not in the 1st trimester of pregnancy would understand how happy I was!

    Yay for no spotting!

My sciatic nerve is bothering me SO bad today. I've had this problem since before I got pregnant so I know the further along I get, the worse its going to feel. Also getting a lot of cramping ... But it feels just like my uterus is stretching so I'm sure everything is fine.
